It's a shame they didn't try to replicate the Golf R32's engine note. One of the best sounding V6 engines of all time! Love that the thing is a beast in this game though.
I am a Tuner guy when playing Carbon. I despise Exotics (except for the Carrera GT, Darius' R8, and the M3) due to lack of handling. My personal choice for me is actually the Evo since it has a lot of acceleration and top speed. Skyline is good but nothing can beat the Evo in my opinion. That beast can reach up to 233 MPH when fully upgraded and can also be used to defeat Darius during the descending part of the canyon.
Bro, your driving is kinda good. I've been racing with Tuners for a while now. Funny, but my first completed playthrough was with Muscle cars. As for Exotics, you are right - MEH indeed.
Muscles are the obvious choice when you are a child. They have a lot of power and you balance the lack of handling using the crap out of the speedbreaker. Tuners are what you choose when you become older and accustomed to racing games. You understand what a corner is, how to handle it decently and how not to use the speedbreaker every five seconds. Tuners give you the possibility to use just a tap of brakes and throw them into a corner at light speed. But you’re a sitting duck on longer straights. Then come exotics. They are the kind of cars that have very good neutral performance but they expect you to extract the best of them. You have to drive them just under the limit, with good braking points, good apexes and smooth throttle application in corner exit. They also require a good tuning knowledge in order to balance top speed and acceleration, understeer and oversteer. They actually are the hardest to drive as fast as you can, but once you can…it’s so satisfying. Usually, after you master exotics, you go full circle and set yourself the challenge to compensate the lack of handling of muscles with even better driving and not speedbreaker abuse.
I started with exotics, I kind of love having to baoance things, i had an elise that i managed to keep for almost half of the game because i learned how to drive it to its full potential
0:31 There's actually a small window where you can pass Kenji with an RX8 on this turn but to attempt it you need to optimize the first 2 turns. Afterwards when you get to this turn, You have to take it at a high speed, and risk falling off if you don't collide with Kenji. If you don't hit Kenji you fall off, if you do hit Kenji, you overtake and win.
I first beat Wolf tfk and overtook him in the stock alfa Romeo brero, then I won the pink slip to his car and used his Aston Martin db9 to beat kenji and then Angie😂😂😂 I'm just struggling to keep up with their newer cars when they change cars, its hard cos I dont wanna spend much money and get one of the reward cards where u have to have $1,000,000 dollars in ur career mode and I want to have more than enough to get all 99% of the reward cards done before I finish the career mode
There's another way to gain 1M in career, first I suggest to finish the game, then get busted by cops that they you lost your last car - game over. You don't need to start new game, more like start new campaign again - with every performance and car unlocked. Then you have to get nissan 240sx - best and fastest car of tier 1 which easily beats every car of tier 2 EVEN STOCK which will help you save lot of money. Also good for you to obtain all pink slips from bosses then sell their cars (or keep Angie's charger, being best tier 2 car while tuned to beat tier 3 folks.)
I've beaten the game with a bone stock 240, easiest way to save money lol. If that is too difficult you can mod it and it's still plenty good enough to beat the game, just avoid speed trap races. I'd recommend using the RX7, whether you can win Kenji's pinkslip or buying it, it's also good enough to beat the game stock or modded
If you want to same money in-game, I think it’s perfect. However, it’s more effective if you try and win it in Kenji’s boss race (because free aerodynamics). If you’re either a good driver, or a dedicated individual, you can use it all the way to the end of the game. Edit; there are definitely better cars built for racing than the rx7.
The best all around cars for canyon are the: Corvette due to extreme acceleration and best handling in muscle class Evo due to perfect handling and acceleration in the tuner class And either le mans quattro or bmw since of course darius r8 is a beast having perfect acceleration and handling and the m3 has perfect handling and its lighter in carbon weighing 1100 kg and in mw being 1300 kg ( i know this things from nfs vlted) despite having poor top speed and decent acceleration But there are a variety of tuners especially that are underrated such as the 240sx, rx7, skyline but these are good only for handling What i hate about this game is that they nerfed the carrera gt, ford gt and the the 996 carrera pretty badly havijg terrible corner speeds and i expected more from the carrera especially but if you put mw engine values imported from mw to carbon m3 then you have the best all around car in the game being able to overtake darius in the first corner like the corvette since they both have the 0-300 acceleration in 5 seconds (in carbon at least)

@@themartamationgartlowe4870 This is my experience so far. I've overtaken/pulled away from Darius in the RX-7, Golf and the Eclipse consistently and those are just Tier 2. Could never do that with Tier 2 Muscles and Exotics except with Monaro which for some reason made Darius much slower than usual. Also can be done with Nissan 240SX which in my opinion is a Tier 2 car. And I only use Automatic transmission too so yeah Tuners are OP. All Tier 3 tuners (maybe except G35), can overtake/pull away from Darius quite easily.
You can overtake him with the Corvette o Viper in the first corner. Or you can use the Lancer, you just have to do the proper racing lines and breaking points.
I'm playing the Battle Royale mod in these days, I'm definitely enjoying it, but the tier 3 races are more challenging because they added a whole bunch of new tier 3 cars. Still fun tho.

The make one million card was one of the toughest challenges in the game 240SX easily the best tuner of the game.
