Did you know the sport of NASCAR had its beginnings on the beach in Daytona, Florida? In this video I visit the site of the original Daytona Beach and Road Course located on the Ponce Inlet. As a person who grew up in motorsports, this was a fun trip! I also headed north of the original course to where many of the early land speed records were set. I know this is a bit of a departure from my normal videos, but I hope you still enjoy it!
