I love allied fight situations like monks vs henchmen, soldiers vs raptors, and soldiers vs giant scorpions. It’s fun to watch the fights and snipe the enemies from a distance.
There’s something I saw people notice about the monk vs mercenary fights: - Monk vs Mask: either can win - Monk vs Shades: monk always wins - full on brawls: take out the masked ones, monks will win So if you want the monks to live, despite the glasses being the more dangerous, always aim for the masked ones first. The monks can then handle the more dangerous glasses ones on their own time. At least, this was the case on the original; not sure if the remaster adjusted it.
Great video again mate! I never played Tomb Raider 2 properly when it first came out, I only ran around in the home. So I played these levels for the first time in the remaster 6:07 - that jump annoyed me a took me a while to do, I did it but at a slightly different angle to you. Barkhang Monastery is a great level, I did put a skip in the shorts on my channel if you want the speed running achievements. I got the same prayer wheel as you did but I got to the room a different way by corner bugging through a moveable block
@@TheGameBreakersUK Glad you like it sir! Good idea to glitch through the movable block in the fire room, didn't think of that, I'll be using that for my speedrun
If you only have one prayer wheel, you should also make sure to save before/after inserting it into all slots, but not in the middle. Otherwise, the prayer wheel will be missing from your inventory and the bug with selecting the seraph may no longer work. If you also have another quest item such as a key in your inventory, you can no longer change the selection with left and right after opening the inventory and going up to the quest items. Switching between the items ends the bug, so select the first item that is displayed, even if it is a key and not the seraph.
Those creepy eyes... Ugh... I have to note that the level almost returns to TR1 classic level style. Ancient location with traps (which perfectly fit to the level theme), collecting multiple keys each from its dedicated challenge (like in St. Francis Folly). The only difference is it is not abandoned. I personally think it is too long, but so are most TR2 levels. Most players like that.
Except for weird-playing as a kid, basically it was a first walkthrough for me. "Monastery" become a level when I started really enjoying the game. The level itself feels like a good video game indeed. Also I did not remembered not this level at all, not what will be next (exept the final boss). P.S. _[when Bartoli mercenaries attacks Lara while every single monk friendly and healthy]:_ - _Now All of China knows you're here._ (Mulan meme)
36:45 "I'm pacified to do anything else" Did you perhaps mean *petrified* , as opposed to pacified? Pacify = to be very calm Petrified (in this context) = to be very afraid And that Prayer Wheel glitch is very interesting. But, I agree that this is such a nice level, it's kind of a shame to not go through it all.
Referring to my from the TR1 remastered speedrun video: At 52:22 (while we should be listening to the lovely chant 😉) I activated the subtitles to see whether Laras' 'Aha' gets translated. Answer yes it gets translated (in my case with for German not-fitting 'uh-huh'). Funny Side Note: Right before that when Lara Kills the Bird the subtitles say 'music' and 'applause' 😂

I agree with the disappointing function of the Seraph 😂😂..
All that grinding in Venice, underwater and Tibet was to just open a small wooden door! 😅
Comment for the algorithm

I think I tried to say: "that we'll need to pacify", a more polite way of saying obliterate :D
40:05 imagine you’re low in health and you fall into this stupid trap 😂 well done trolling developers, well done

For me, the auto-generated subtitles always give the word: "foreign" whenever there's even the slightest 'thumping' noise :D
@@zelgadis115 That's quite the language there. 🤣
I'd be curious to what other watchers, maybe with another native language get to read.
I'm sad. U used a medpack=(
