I'm so glad Larry is back on his bike! It's clear that he really enjoys biking. Congratulations on the healing too! I feel like I truly "follow" you. I broke my shoulder about two weeks after you did, Hope, and I can appreciate all that you've gone through! I'm working to regain my strength and range, too. Thank goodness for physiotherapists!

I've had a hip and both knees replaced and am here to say"God bless our physical therapists". Without them I would have been in dire situations. So glad you are both doing well!

Wow, so glad you both are healing well,
Seven years ago, I had the same break. No surgery, many months of immobilization and a great deal of physical therapy followed. I have regained total mobility with some tenderness if I push heavy carts, but very little. I have continued to do the exercises and added more. Keep up your healing and you will be amazed at how bodies can do wonders!

this is amazing hope. same thing happened to me 6 months ago but it was both rotary cups right and left and right under there another fracture I said no surgery I was going to do it myself and I have about 70 60 to 70 % of my movement available❤I also had the same reaction from my doctor and so forth he couldn't believe it so keep doing what you're doing I'm also doing a lot of pt on my own summoned in encouraged by the chiropractor and some by my massage therapist. but I will say God Is Bigger Than all that
Larry, I think it's best to not even try to figure out how your bike accident happened. Sometimes things just happen and nobody ever knows how. Just a freak accident. I'm just glad you recovered so well when it could have been so much worse!
Yes, I think letting us all know how magicycle responded is the right thing to do. Speaks volumes about a company when they go above and beyond without expecting or asking for publicity from it. The parable of the widow's mite springs to mind!
Wow Larry, that helmet saved you! And to Hope, it just goes to show, doctors think they know everything but this is not always the case. The body had an amazing ability to heal itself sometimes so well done for listening to your body and standing your ground! Hoping you both continue recovering at a steady pace and get back to full health.

Bought a bird bath at Lowes Garden Center, I mentioned to the associate there it had some facial damage & got 20% off, I had already got two plants clearanced out in my basket. Always ask for discounts on open packages & damaged scratch & dented items in these type stores.

We have a lot of ebikes here in Florida that are used year round! I am so glad you are both improving your range of motion. I had rotator cuff surgery 4 years ago and it was a long physical therapy. I just had total knee replacement surgery and am back at PT to work on bending my knee.

I was hit and run left for dead. Life flight to NOLA trauma center.4/16/24. Mom is telling me that I shouldn't ride again.
I can't help people are irresponsible drivers. My scooter is my backup plan should car issues arrive.

Healing now i am almost 2 weeks Post Op from a Total Left Hip Replacement 😊 i am feeling fantastic no more pain, Rehab now going to 1x per week with exercise on the Retirement Ranch ❤ We love you both, great video ❤

Magicycle is a great company. I really enjoy their support and products.
Glad that both of you are doing well. Getting 100% on my rotator cup took 2 years. The last 5% took the longest. I hope you heal faster!
It's great that Larry is back on the bike. I have been riding for 12 years. I retired a bit early at 62 years old and part of the reason is saving money by riding the Ebike. Larry tends to do longer trips but I use it for basic transportation. It's my main in-city transportation over the years saving money over gas. The other thing is it keeps me healthier and I find that my pulse rate is much higher on the Ebike than walking.
Ebikes have gone down in price. They start as low as $400 and up. This is much lower than the $1500 I spent to build the Cargo bike.
I am sure Larry meets many nice people on his rides and I have talked to many people on the trails. Now that Ebikes are becoming more popular lockup points are being used more. I went grocery shopping last Friday and another Ebike was at the grocery store.
I am down to 2-3k mikes a year by car so this adds up to major savings.
You are doing so many things that are good for you, Steve! You are very talented and handy.

I have one. Love it. There are advantages to having a trike. The two-wheeled bike is great for longer trips.

So happy you both are healing well! I know you monitor every expenditure...what does charging the ebike add to your electricity usage/bill?
It takes 100 watts at around 3 to 4 hours to charge so it's not terrible. As the weather permits, I will solar charge the e-bike.

What's interesting, Angel, is that I'm always very careful on my rides. I take no chances. That's why I really don't understand how this happened. I really watch traffic.
