From the magnificent scenery to the crazy crowds, the dramatic weather conditions and the amazing local wildlife, there's never been another race quite like it and the interest has never diminshed.
At the 1984 Safari Rally, top drivers like Bjorn Waldegaard, Raano Aaltonen, Stig Blomqvist, Markku Alen, Hannu Mikkola and Timo Salonen tried their level best to beat the clock, and the terrain, as they charged through enormous stages and wowed the local fans.

There's a Safari Rally where a Rally Car narrowly misses some animals and the Swedish/Finnish drivers talks about "Brake and Evade" does anyone know which Rally this was?

I talked to Ari Vatanen and he said it was Nakuru, 1985 Safari Rally. He said he just “kissed” one cow
