thanks for showing the whole process. im going to try this form of modelling for the first time and this helps. also your nmm works well in this type of model. im not a fan of nmm as i think it doesnt work on models viewed from different angles. but on this it works and im now going to give it a go myself. thanks again.
I have to say, that can as the cape, pretty good idea, probably took some screwing around to get it right, but thankfully you can cheat on the attachment in the back since it won't really be visible anyway.
Thanks for creating this artwork in the style of Roman. I too enjoy his artwork and have one planned for a future build. Thanks again for sharing your talents. Cheers
Wow, this is incredible! I subbed straight away. What about an eldar craftworld scene as your next one? A few towering arches in the backdrop, maybe an aspect warrior or two in the foreground?
So I think a purple with a white spray could have worked really well since both major elements on your mini shared the same shadow color(and purple still works ok for a gold shadow), also have you ever tried using NMM techniques but with metallic paints?
thanks for the comment dude, yeah i've tried the tmm/nmm thing , must say I really want to level up my nmm though, I have a soft spot for it when people are really good at it so I have to keep trying !
I really enjoy your video. New sub earned. I would really love to see the process of building the picture frame out to the correct depth. I'm working on a diarama with Calis and Toll from Age of Sigmar. I didn't see a tutorial for the frame on Roman's channel either. Any help is greatly appreciated. Edit: I just finished the video and WOW, the finished product is beautiful. Awesome talent my friend.
Thanks for saying so, and for taking the time to write a comment ! 😊 for this round one I actually took the plastic core of a large tape roll and just squeezed it until it fit . The back is plastic card 😊 hope that helps I know Roman have pdfs at his etsy for building them to , but don’t think to hard about it ! If you wanna bounce feedback of me you’d be more then welcome , the discord is in the video description 😊 and thanks again mate !
Incredible painter, but you didn't drill ur gun barrel, left a mold line along the outstretched arm, and there is a huge gash in the ball-vent in the center of the frame. Stellar painter, but ur prep work is gonna keep you from the big leagues. Lesser knit-pick would be giving the ornate frame some color, maybe a dull metallic not to steal to much attention, and the ammo-belt was left blue(should be black/grey or metallic maybe) Ur a much better painter than I, the overall project is a stellar idea, but details my man, that's what makes a consummate professional.
Hi mate ! I’m well aware of all the things you mentioned 😊 for me this was a fun project for my own shelf , I didn’t go all out on it 😅 thanks for the feedback though , I hope to impress you with other stuff that are more refined in the future 😊😊
@@WitnessMyMinis Very close to a commission worthy piece of art. Don't sell yourself short, go all the way. That little extra bit of prep work pays off as you enjoy the piece for years to come. Your worth it and ur projects deserve everything u got. I will tune in to see what comes next, good luck, go harder, ur even better than you think
Awesome stuff!
Thank you !! Glad you liked it 🙌🏼

Smart !!! Thanks for the tip!
Dude, that stippling took that cloak all the way up to 11 wow!

Dude Thank you !! That is not a bad idea at all ! 👍🏼
Awesome
Thanks 🙏🏼
What did you use for the stuff behind the frame? Is it just cardboard?
Really great results!!
Thanks !! The oval shape is actually a bent core of packing tape , the back is plastic card . Hope that helps !!
@@WitnessMyMinis thank you so much! :D
Love this. Been seeing these on Insta lately and really want to try one. Would love to see some people doing fantasy/LOTR ones for inspiration!
Thanks for the kind words ! I did make another one for aos/nurgle if you wanna look at some fantasy also 😊

@@WitnessMyMinis That's fair, I've watched dozens of video's but NNM is still just black magic to me.
I mean, you put so much work in that awesome paint job but tht moldline just hurts my soul 9:52
haha ^^ fair, if it wasn't just for my own shelf I would have cared more too :D
what is the structure material that you have built inside the frame? is it some kind of foam or plasticard?
plastic card, the one I had was a thicker one with twin walls but that's not needed. thanks for watching the video :D
What's that frame style called?
Its Italien style 😊

Mind telling me the dimensions on the frame?
of course ! 14x10cm its an Italian frame .
@@WitnessMyMinis Thanks friend, I've been having a hard time tracking down these fancy frames.
Did u paint the frame
Yup 👍🏼
Vad använde du ölburken till?
Inget i slutändan 😅 testade om jag skulle gjort manteln av den först men skippade den idén
@@WitnessMyMinis Tråkigt att behöva dricka öl för hobbyns skull. 😉

Have you sped up the speech when you are off cam? Makes it kind of stressful and you haven't sped up the audio correctly so it sounds bad.
Hi mate yeah I did tampered with that trying to get down the runtime of the videos don’t do it anymore more 😅 hope it wasn’t to distracting.
drill the barrel :p
wouldn't it not be easier to paint the model outside the "frame" ;p ?
😜
Tu montres trop ta tête. C'est le travail en cours qu'on veut voir
Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
