Bolt guns are a very distant 7th down the list for me. Behind semi auto rifles, lever rifles, pump shotguns, revolvers, semi auto pistols, semi auto shotguns. There just isn't the utility/versatility in my mind. Though, in general, very high reliability
They sell the bare action. You'd probably be better off buying that and getting a barrel in .277. Otherwise, you're probably going to be waiting quite a while.
@@Thisthat1234 you can take some compound for rings and put on the bolt and work it about a hundred times clean it repeat to you get around 400 times and will smooth the bolt up considerably
I have a Savage Axis .308 that i bought for $300 in 2014. Came with a Weaver scope and the accutrigger and it groups better at 100 yards than my buddy's Ruger Precision in .308 😂

I had the mossberg .308 and the gun was beautiful it just wouldn’t shoot straight no matter what man i really like it but would hit paper so have to get a different one, My point in saying this is it’s been proven at least the .308 to not be so good at all man even the second version of the gun with the fluted barrel just doesn’t do it
The best bolt gun is the one that you can buy ammunition for. I have a winchester model 700 300 wsm and no one has ammunition for it. I only have 3 boxes.

i think tikka is still the best bang for your buck, hard to beat them for the money..imo
They cant be beat for money or accuracy. For a lot of long range competitions I swap the stock, for a bench rest design.
Love Aero Precision, their M4E1 receiver sets are my go-to for the majority of my builds.
You should strongly consider Cadex Defense in Canada. Hands down the nicest shooting rifle I've ever shot!!
