  • Zuber from Houston, Texas talks about his male pattern baldness and reviews his scalp micropigmentation procedure at Scalpp Houston. He had tried caboki, toppik and dermmatch and thought about an fue hair transplant. But after all that, Scalp Micropigmentation worked for him as the best soltution.

    This is a great treatment! The colour, the framing and the feathered hairline is perfection. And to know that it’s two years since completion is even more amazing. I totally agree and identify with everything this guy is saying. Find yourself a practitioner with a good portfolio and clients who can give testament to the quality of the treatment performed. I had a similar experience with a great practitioner in the UK but it’s videos like this that help pre-treatment clients on what to look for in this industry worldwide. Salute to this gentleman on his great testimony, salute to Ian and everyone at Scalpp Houston. Great job guys.🤘🏾

    What do you think of just getting SMP for a thinning crown? I have finally accepted that I can only wear a bald/buzzed head. Regardless, knowing that the bald spots at the crown have become bigger, it totally ruins the buzzcut look for me. For me it’s all about looking like I actively chose my hairstyle, not the other way arround… and the bald spots totally ruin that feeling for me. I don’t even care about my diffused thinning at my temples and very high hairline. As someone who used to have curls like yours, this video hit me. Great stuff, man, keep going!

      Thank you very much for watching! I will make a video for you on Anti Shine to go into more detail. The main thing is to keep the scalp clean/oil free and then use an anti shine product. Peter Thomas Roth Mattifying Gel works well as an anti shine - silica is the ingredient that helps stop the shine. And with that - talc is a natural anti shine as it is silica as well as magnesium which is also good for shine. Talc will also absorb any excess oil at the same time. Clubman Pinaud Flesh colored talc blends very well with the skin.

    Hi
    First of all congratulations. I am bald and interested in something like this.
    I have only 1 question.
    The bald part of my head, feels smooth when you run your hand over it.
    After SMP, while the color will be more like hair, but if I run the hand over the previously bald part after SMP, will it still feel smooth or slightly rough as it would in case of a buzz cut over actual hair part.
    Regards

    This is great work. I just got it done and it looks great but I freaked out about how permanent it is. What happens when it fades if I don't get it touched up? Will it soften until it's barely visible or look messy?

    • @Scalpp
      @Scalpp  2 роки тому

      I just saw your video on Reddit actually. Glad you got used to it, it isn't uncommon to be freaked out initially - our reflection is everything. Zuber had a touch up session a few weeks ago and it was very very subtle at that stage and we just touched it up. Infact it looks much better than even in this video now as we have tools and needle types that weren't available during the initial sessions. I'll ask him to post on Reddit some updates too.

    • @Scalpp
      @Scalpp  3 роки тому +1

      If out all day in the sun then you would do the same as you would normally do on bare skin - sunscreen. Or a sun hat too if you're vulnerable to burning more than average. In general and day to day life then the sun is no issue, just give it at least a week before heavy exposure

  • @letrossdunk
    @letrossdunk 4 роки тому +1

    is this permanent? what if it peels off from the heat or something

    • @Scalpp
      @Scalpp  4 роки тому +2

      Hi there. Yes it is permanent. It won't peel off in the sun, the pigment is too deep in the skin for that. But we still do advise wearing sunscreen or a hat if in the sun all day in order for the treatment to hold longer. A touch up session is usually required every 4-6 years to either freshen up some of the deposits and/or address any additional hairloss.
