I don’t know shit about fishing, let alone fly fishing. I honestly don’t really even enjoy fishing. That being said, I really enjoy watching these fly’s being made. It looks really fun to do, and I kinda wish I had the stuff to try it out even though I wouldn’t use the end product for anything.
If you ever do you could donate them to something like project healing waters that brings veterans out fly fishing as a form of therapy

@@yarodude there are bodies of water where fishing privately / for fun is banned but they will still host very occasional sport events as long as they're far apart enough to not be dangerous to the wildlife. it's nice because it raises awareness about how well the populations have recovered now that we don't fish there

In order to make this you have to finish the game, do every side quest and defeat all the bosses. Don’t forget to talk to the NPC at the river bend on world three who will give you a special key which will help you unlock the secret boss at the end of the game.

I saw a sign once, it said, “PART-TIME JOB, fly tying. Pay: $1.50 each or $10.00 an hour.” I FKD up, I chose the piece work option for $1.50 each, instead of the guaranteed $10.00 an hour, because it took me 2 hours to tie one, and 45 minutes to catch it. My uncle loved trout fishing and always made his own flies, he paid me double the price I originally payed for a sweater that had certain colour to it.
Then he got it cut in small pieces and sold each piece to his fellow fishermen and got all his money back. I loved that sweater 😅

As a fly fisherman my personal favorites are the McGees (similar to this one). Red, green, or yellow are sure to land you a nice trout. I have tied some other color variations to try out in the past but don't work as well as the original 3 colors. Another amazing Fly variation that is slowly fading from fly boxes and being forgotten. So sad....

Yeah I think the main idea for these guys is to relax tying a bunch of cool flies, stick them in a hat and show off.

As someone who has never been into fishing, watching this seems like how you make a plumbus being explained.
first, they take the dinglebop and then they smooth it out, with a bunch of shleam. the shleam is then repurposed for later batches. they take the dinglebop and push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed. its important the fleep is rubbed because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice. then a shlami shows up and he rubs it, and spits on it. they cut the fleeb. there are several hizzards in the way. the blamps rub against the chumbles and the plubus and chumble are shaved away. that leaves you with a regular old plumbus.
