It's actually a good keyboard overall in many aspects :)
I just ended up making my own gameboy-inspired keyboard by getting the cream-colored SK75 (for that slightly yellowed retro tech feel, ofc) and a set of GMK DMG keycaps. Would love to see how the dmg caps look on this one though..

I really like the look of the board, seems fun. I know it´s all about personal preference and a lot of people will like the ¨thocky, creamy¨ build, but that´s just not my thing. It would have been nice to see you try a ¨clacky¨ build and see if it worked.
Problem I have with these custom keyboard manufacturers like Angry Miao and DrunkDeer, are their names. I don't understand how they've come up with silly names but it makes their keyboard seem unimpressively cheap.
Branding is important. These companies already failed the most important part of it with their names. They just don't scream "professional" at first glance which is important.
Exactly.. I scratch my head and chuckle the first few times I was introduced to some of these keyboard companies. Yes they may off some quality keyboards, but their brand name ruins the overall package.

you might not realize but your comment is uninformed a borderline racist. Miao is the chinese word for cat. Their logo/mascot is a cat. In the chinese market, their branding is cute, funny, and memorable. Tell a chinese person their perspective on Dell Computers branding...and ask them if they think that screams professional...when it's just a guys last name.

Just wondering if this able to be run in a cable only config as I wonder if the screen will drain the battery to fast?

It's a cool keyboard in every way and so good looking. While it offers any latest customizable feature. Still it's pretty expensive and you can't call it one "unique" piece for collectors.

I wonder whats stopping them from putting an oled display there instead. The led pixel display just looks kinda bad to me. I know it was on the cyberboard - but i think even then ppl would rather an oled

Just get the barebones if it’s not your thing.
This keyboard is now just an expensive item. No longer an impossible thing to find they are releasing new itterations every couple of weeks. Brand value is being milked and will diminish.
Maybe for the first time I could not agree with you. In my opinion, this keyboard is the biggest mistake AM have done till now. It looks so unambitious of them to combine stuff from their other keyboards in a less exciting way and to put their money on the nostalgia factor, even sacrificing the innovative wireless charging they used before. I am not saying they did it bad, I am just saying they probably did the wrong thing in a very good way.
I own many Angry Miaos but I’ve never even used the wireless charging feature, I just couldn’t find their charging pad available for sale. 😂

it's a very nice keeb, but i don't know man.... all these makers are taking the piss out of the hobby now. we all know why we mod our keebs, not only for sound and feel, but the act of modding itself. ya its ok to buy a ready made mech, but is it stilled considered our hobby at that point? even most quality switches come factory loobed. why am i paying someone else to do my hobby?
soon you can probably pay more for an unlubed switch LOL
What is stopping you from modding it? You can still experiment with it. The option is open to you. A lot of people just want a nice keyboard without having to invest too much time.
You might find that other people would pay you just to do your hobby.
