Just heard this song on a cruise ship and I am IN LOVE with it!!!
drummers harmony vocals are right up there with queens roger taylor. TOP STUFF!!
I can't get over the fact of how freaking awesome they are.
Now THAT'S Jangle Pop Folk 'n' Roll!
Not gonna lie, heard it in my local Winn Dixie grocery store and was hooked right into it. Awesome song.
Great video of a really talented band. It does my heart good to see real music being now days.
Still love this.........doesn't matter how many years ago this was. One of my favorites
Same. The lyrics and flow are really fantastic.
So good. Such a talented band.
Great performance of a great song.
A retro breath of fresh air . .thanks Decemberists
Exceptional lyrics
2020 this song still a banger
Love when the band is just as good in the flesh
Wonderful! I only heard this song for the first time on BBC Radio 2 last night, and I was entranced by it, and I've ordered the CD from Amazon.
Kick'n some ass ,tight and strong performance.
Sounds great
These guys know how to write and perform a song.
astonishing
Great!!!!!
Cool!
Pretty good fresh song
what kind of guitar is that its beautiful
@adamgore1 it's a gibson js-200
@rollerblaker js-200 Montana Gold just saw one:)
Heard once and before I knew it the play count was 43
@GEOHHADDAD Actually, Peter Buck played on the studio version of this song, so that might explain some of the similarities.
I can deff tell the Neil Young influence. Great song. the Qtv one thats more acoustic is better imo, but still an amazing song.
What is the other
stringed instrument? The one being played at 1:06, 1:41? I heard it was a 12-string guitar, but it doesn't look like a guitar to me...
It's a 12-string guitar
Vox 12 string teardrop style with a few custom pickups in it .
Similar to Frusciante's masterpiece "Ascension"
thanks
awesome, except for the drummer trying to fill up the backin vocal spot.
its ok but the recording is better. =]
Great song - unfortuantely it is a total rip off of REM's "The One I Love."
They repaired that shitty REM song.
