I believe God leads me in to all kinds of different teachings because there is some truth in all of them...Nobody has the whole complete truth as we know in PART. There are way too many verses in scripture including our Lord Jesus Christ that talk about sinning. The consequences of it and do not do it! To say that the sin problem is completely taken care of for everyone is true but only if we follow Christ and obey Him. It does set us apart and that is the only way. That is truth...

I would like to say this to you colossians2a9... The sin problem is taken care of...At the deepest part of all of us is Christ. We only need to wake up to that reality. We focus on the truth...not sin issues to SEE.

This is the second time I've watched this series and I pick up more each time. There is one fundamental tenant in this teaching that I believe is well contradicted by multiple scriptural references, and that is the concept of universalism. There are far too many passages that support some form of acceptance of the gift is required to recieve the life of Christ. That said, there is far too much adorable baby in this bath water to throw it out over that difference. I particularly like the fact that this teaching helps remove the wall between faith and science, as well as the applicational benefit for the healing of the mind.
Donald McCarthy I would encourage you to visit the Trinity in You website and read their statement on universalism. It isn't universalism as defined in the adea of all religions lead to God and Heaven. They firmly believe that Jesus is the way truth and life and only way to the Father. They believe that the work of Christ had universal effects on us. If Adam can effect us universally why couldn't Christ have a universal redemptive effect. Baxter Krueger explains this beautifully!

How is that different than saying "Follow God and obey Him"...?...which is exactly what the Old Covenant law taught and that never seemed to put a dent in any sin problem, IMHO.
