Wow, that kid's face lighting up when he realizes that A-Train just saved someone right in front of him! And then A-Train feeling good about it, serious emotional work
@@Supergeekedup_ I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen A-Train happy with HIMSELF in all 4 seasons. Man is stressed out but he’s going out a hero I hope 🤞
Will for some of you commenters think that A-train did something right for once in his life I just don't know if he is going to change when he just did one selfless act maybe he might have a redemption arc in this series or who noise.
I thought so, but in a different way; notice how the kids a similar age to a-train’s younger nephew, I imagine a scene where the kid asks the nephew at school if his uncle is A-train, then tells him he saw A-train being a hero, the nephews demeanor about the topic will change from reluctance to astonishment when he realizes that his Uncle Reggie really is a hero. although this will definitely be what uncovers A-train as the mole. Sage will find out MM was checked into the ER (minutes after being shot) through hospital records and quickly put together that A-train brought him there
@@iamDani3l i mean Sage was shot in a head so maybe she had loss of memory as you could see when she was with homelander with hole in head, maybe she wont remember what happend that night we will see
I could see them as using it as good publicity for the seven and supes and push forward that supes are needed in the world. “A train saves CIA agent”, homelander would be pissed but would probably let it slide cuz he’s won over so many votes . That’s just a way I can see them doing it if that was the scenario.
Ever since A-Train’s brother shut him out of his life, it’s been messing with his head about all the bad decisions and actions he’s done And saving MM really changed him 🥹
I personally believe him seeing that young child in total awe of what he had done will be a bigger motivator for him to do more good, especially with the fact that his nephews are also around the same age as that boy.
@vinnyruiz118 honestly that would be bad writing at this point, A train needs to make it to the end, he might still die, but it will be in a sacrificial way to end homelander. Anything short would be a disservice, like if homelander just cuts him down it will be lame. I'd like to see homelander actually try to fight a a train that's blood lusted, dude had trouble with butcher and soldier boy neither of which are as fast
Genuinely one of the greatest moments of the show so far. The awe and wonder of a real hero. Something that A-train was the complete opposite of in the beginning. What an arc. Even when he inevitably dies, he’s already won, he’s what everyone in the 7 pretends to be. A superhero.
There are some scenes that don't need a dialogue, this was one of them. But sadly I think a train's redemption arc is complete. Now in next episode he might die
@@indianlibertarian6925 I wouldn't say it's complete. It's almost there though, someone persuaded him to do the right thing here and he complied. His redemption would be completely if he did something self less on his own where he gained nothing from it
I find it pretty funny that this show is all about parodying superheroes and peoples favorite moment from this season is of one of them doing something actually heroic
The fame, drugs, and money don’t mean anything to A-Train anymore, just the respect and love from his family and wanting to be a real hero to inspire his nephews. They’re probably going to give a big damn heroes moment before killing him off violently :(
His brother scalding him is what really made him turn things around. In an interview it's revealed his father died when he was young and his mom was busy working two jobs. So his brother mostly raised him, he's his father figure, his coach, and his best friend. So when he of all people tells A-Train he's a selfish murder, it finally sinks in, and he starts wanting to change
@jairusjackson7799 I bet that before A-Train likely sacrifices himself against Homelander, he does two things. First, he sincerely apologizes to Annie for what happened to Supersonic and second, he gives Hughie his brother Nathan's phone number and address; asking him to tell his brother that he's both sorry and he loves him and his nephews.
@@giorgiobedolla I’m kinda hoping his nephews think he’s a piece of shit until they see him pull off a “big damn heroes moment” on live TV that outs him working for the Boys and putting him in danger but also let’s the whole world know he’s actually a real super hero. Will make the punch to the gut that much more painful, his family finding out too late he actually is a good guy.
They are going to kill him and his brother will know , and respect atrain again most likely his story will end with his brother realize he was a hero after all
I love the moment at 2:26 because he's WAITING for a reason from her. He could've left them but he waits for her to give him a reason, proving that he already wants to save MM, he just needs to tell himself it's for some other reason. Jessie T. Usher, the man you are.
Crazy in an episode as loud and lewd as the boys has ever been, it’s the quiet and grounded character growth moment that leaves the biggest lasting impression for me.
Ngl I’ve fell in love with his character arc. My fav character in the show and I’m willing to fight anyone on it. True Steve Harrington-level change and it’s gonna be sad seeing his demise
A Train is like a lot of people. People who feel its too late, too late to make it right. But this scene proves its never too late. That smile, A Train realizes what his brother was talking about. He finally felt what its like to do a real good deed and to be true super hero
Bro A-train is literally going to die this season, and it’s going to be the one of saddest shit anyone will see on the boys. He is gonna die saying, “I finally did a good thing” 😭😭😭
It never occurred to me until I saw your post, but…you’re right. In the universe of The Boys, moments of genuine heroism feel so much more powerful. A-Train may have had to be pressured into it, but in the end he chose to do something genuinely good for the right reasons. And after seeing him in the first three seasons…it feels so good. Like he’s realizing that he can be the hero he’s always pretended to be up to this point, and that it feels more fulfilling than the career he’d desperately protected at the expense of others and his own soul. And most importantly: that he never needed Vaught, the Seven or the fame for any of that.
Getting that feeling from that kid witnessing A-Train save someone must've felt good for him and actually must've helped him. A-Train is turning a new leaf.
It reminds me of the quote from Charles Xavier to Gambit.."how often must a scoundrel prove himseld a hero before he believes it himself". I love A-Train's character development . I hope he doesnt die or at least goes out a hero. His comic death seems impossible now
Why did not Sage just scream? It was more reliable way to get to Homelander, plus this is so stupid "death" for the smartest person on the Earth. Big L

That kid made A-train addicted to that feeling, lol
Seeing that child's smile must have been a real relief for A-Train. Probably for the first time he felt like a real superhero.
