    11:18 ... This is because the mass of a pen is negligible against the mass of earth so that is why pen cannot attracyt the earth

    The reason is that the earth because of its huge mass retains it's position or does not move but the pen being very light gets attracted and falls towards the earth.

      If the universal gravitational constant is independent of shape of bodies then how can we consider the masses of those 2 bodies is in the center?

    The Earth does attract the pen, but because the Earth is so much bigger and heavier than the pen, its pull on the pen is much stronger. The pen falls towards the Earth because of this strong pull. The Earth also moves a tiny bit towards the pen, but because the Earth is so massive, this movement is extremely small and not noticeable.

    Thank you so much sir for this stupendous explanation. We want more such sessions. Mass of pen is smaller than😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 the mass of earth thus the force of attraction exerted by earth is larger than that of the force exerted by the pen.
