Fred , I hope the guys who served in Vietnam found pleasant memories in seeing the old Yogi Bear commercials. This was before they had to travel through rice paddies and jungles. I want them to have peace and remember what the US was like before they were drafted.🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
I can still remember thinking when I was a child. I actually thought the giants were really that big in the tv show, lol! I can just laugh at myself now, the mind of a child, wow!
@1:55, The Hawaii Five-0 promo appears to be an edited, original 1968-first season intro version. One big difference, that began with the 2nd season, is the herky-jerky, aerial shot of McGarrett on the hotel balcony.
Kellogg's OKs were just the Kellogg version of Cheerios, except that they included a K. Liked that you included the Richard Pryor bit, but that was from the mid-1970s. It aired for part of a season before Richard walked off his own show and wouldn't come back because he was tired of the NBC reps' interference.
You mean CBS and NBC? Yeah, the CBS movie intro was definitely from the late '70s, because it was the first big national example of the musical works of the legendary Ferdinand Jay Smith (who did the famous ABC Star Tunnel intro as shown at the beginning of the video, as well as the even more famous HBO movie intro from the '80s), and the NBC movie intro screams 1986 - 1987, because I was old enough by then to remember watching "The Facts of Life", "Family Ties", and "The Golden Girls" by then and I got that warm feeling of recognition and nostalgia when seeing those graphics and the music.
I remember some of this!!!!!! Thank you!!! ☮️💟
That was the cool thing about Andy Griffith Show. A lot of the commercials tied in with that weeks episode.

The opening from the original pilot of Hawai'i Five- O. James Mac Arthur (Danny "Danno" Williams) wasn't in the pilot.

At 6:06, aren't the ABC and NBC movie intros from the 70s and 80s?

If my memory serves me correctly, the NBC movie intro also started in the late 70s. Same with the ABC movie intro in the beginning of this video.
