Thank you! Just what I was looking for! Wondering if you could demonstrate how to use Siri to schedule an appointment on the Google Calendar that is now on my Apple devices.
Excelente video! a los 4:00 minutos de mirar el video ya aprendí a configurarlo! buen contenido gracias!
I can NOT figure out how to SYNC my google calendar between my iphone and my macbook pro web/chrome google calendar page. Thanks for helping!!!
Great Channel! I love it! Thank you
Glad you enjoy it!
If you add an event to apple calendar would it be added simultaneously to google calendar or is it just one way? Thus, is the syncing live or just once?
Hi Carl, I can sync my iOS Apple and Google calendars. This ensures all events I add to my iOS Apple calendar are replicated on my Google calendar app. However it doesn't look possible to then sync the Google calendar app (with all its Apple calendar events) to the Google web calendar. All I get on the Google web calendar is calendars I've subscribed to - any Apple calendar events that I can see on my Google calendar on my iPhone never appear on the Google web Calendar. Can't understand the logic of this behaviour. Thanks
Thnks, simple and fast video
Carl, Thanks for such clear instructions! I have a question: Is it possible to get notifications from the google events through the ical Apple calendar app? I have a google calendar which I've shared with an iphone-using friend. She can see the calendar and events but does not get the notifications. She has the calendar notifications on her iphone set on. Thanks!
Hi Jay. That's strange. Apple Calendar is a shell, meaning you can put through any calendar and it should work as if you were using Apple's calendar.
The only suggestion I have is to double check your notifications in the Calendar app. It's there where they need to be turned on.
You are insanely organized. Insanely! 🌹
Hahahaha I guess I am. It keeps the stress away :-)
Thank you so much it was very helpful and knowledgeable information
You're very weclome.
Mind blown!!!!! I have been trying to figure this out for so long. I love you!!!!
Glad to have helped, Jodi.
Man! Thanks you so much
Happy to help, Kandish!
Thank you, I was able to set it up real quick.
You're welcome.
It seems that you changed a better camera recently. Better than before... still passionate. thank you for everything!
Using an iPhone 11 Pro now - I am considering a Canon D80 later this year though.
Thanks mate but can I get all my calendar events that has been synced from Google calendar on my apple watch just like the native ones
You can if you make sure you set everything up in your Calendar settings on your phone.
How does one get the notification for calendars to work now ? Nothing comes to my iPhone after using this method.
have you looked in settings? You may need to go to both your calendar app and Google settings to check they are turned on.
Gamsahamnida!! I've finally got it linked..... I was happily surprised when your Korean text popped up... I'm a teacher in Australia, keen to get to Korea and teach someday and learning Korean slowly. Thanks for the video Carl. (even though its been around a couple of years) Cheers from Australia!
Hi Cher, you will never regret coming to Korea. I've been here 20 years now. (I only came to teach for 1 year LOL) I fell in love with Korea. Good luck.
THANK YOU! IT'S SO HELPFUL! Really wish Apple integrates Reminder and Calendar😒
A lot of companies have tried that and found all it does is create duplication (and a big mess in your calendar view)
Hi Carl! Question can somebody share Gcalendar to an iphone also if the person that will be sharing is using the Gcalender through iphone
Yes. All you need do is get the link to the calendar and ask the other person to subscribe to the calendar.
I have an android phone using the Google calendar. I also use the Google calendar on my macbook. The problem is the phone Google calendar is more up to date. How can I have them sync with each other (similar to Google docs)?
If you are connected to your Google account in your account settings everything should sync without any issues.
Thanks... but I have a problem. I can't see "calendar" (min 02:02 ). It only shows "notes" and "mail".
Do you have any idea what I can do?
You will need to sign in to your Google account in the accounts and services section in settings first. One you have signed in, you will be able to add your Google calendar.
Great video! But how can I sync google REMINDERs and sync google TASKS with IOS CALENDAR? Thank you for share.
If you can get a subscription link for your Google reminders and tasks, you should be able to add that to your Apple Calendar.
@@Carl_Pullein How ?
@@goldbillionaire4328 I don't know. I am not familiar with Google reminders and tasks.
How do you synchronize the colors from google calendar to the apple calendar?
Hi Mitch, I'm afraid that's one of those mysteries nobody's ever figured out. This is caused by a restriction on Apple Calendar with the colours we can have.
How can I add a new account on IOS 14, there is no Passwort&account anymore...
I have the same problem
We've added our Google calendar to our Apple calendar exactly the same as in this video, however, when we add a new event via the google calendar, it doesn't show up in our Apple calendar...really annoying! Do you know why this might be? We've got a client who invites us to jobs via Google Calendar and ideally we don't want to be managing two different calendars. We want to be able to accept the job invitation via their email and then see it in our Apple calendar but it's not working and we're not sure what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
There could be a multitude of reasons. However, first check that the syncing is set for every 5 minutes and not every week or day. That's the most likely reason.
Is there a way to get rid of the delay on apple calender when any changes made on Google Calendar? . Everytime I make any update on my Google Calendar on my PC, they never get updated real time on my I phone calender
If you go into your settings for calendar and tap accounts. Make sure your Google account set for "push" not "fetch". That should do the trick.
Hi Carl
That does mean that if you change an event on the iOS device it would be change on the google calendar and vice versa ?
Correct. Just make sure you are using the correct project. It will disappear if you move it from the original project.
Carl Pullein thanks
After setting up Google Calendar on iPhone, I receive each calendar notification twice. One from apple calendar and one from Google calendar.
What would be the best way to fix this?
Turn one of them off. Choose the one you like most.
Hi my wife and I share our google acts together so I can see what she puts down on her google calendar and I can see it on my google calendar but it won’t sync with my apple calendar how is this done?
Hi Carlos, you will need to set up your Google account in Apple's account and services section. Once you have done that, turn on calendar in your Google account and you will be good to go.
Entries in Google Cal don't show up in Apple Cal. Any ideas? Thanks.
I'm afraid not. There could be a multitude of reasons why it's not showing up. Have you 'registered' your Google account in the Internet accounts section on your device?
i hate that you can only add all or nither google calendars... I need only ONE of them that im sharing with my Family. I have to uncheck the calendars to unshod but they still there in the list :(
Ah, I suppose there will be a lot of things people "hate" about a particular app. On the other hand, there will be many that don't.
How do you get Siri to add appointments to google calendar? It keeps just adding it to the apple iCloud calendar. So annoying
You will need to have Google Calendar enabled in your Apple calendar - you can do that in Accounts settings. If you Turn off Apple Calendar and only have Google Calendar in your Calendar it will work.
Hi Carl, does it work in iCalendar on iCloud web? I cannot see my Google Calendars there...
It works in iCal. I've not been able to find a way to get it to work in iCloud.com though.
Hi Carl, I already have a gmail account and when I tried to add new one it said my account existed. I did something wrong
I have tried to add my google agenda to my Iphone. But it does not work. When I follow the instructions:
Settings > agenda > new account > Google > username > password. Then I see the screen with mail, contacts, agenda and notes but it disappears after a few seconds and it goes automatically back to the page where you can chose: Icloud, microsoft exchange, google, yahoo.
I did work on my MacBook, but not on my iPhone.
Can you please help me?
I'm afraid I don't know what is causing the problem. There could a thousand reasons why it is not working. The only suggestion I can make is close all your apps and then shut down your phone. After ten seconds restart your phone and try again. Often that fixes any issues with your phone.
But when it says to me that I must open Safari to check the email I can't because on my Mac I've only Google Chrome. Can I somehow change this setting, that when I need to confirm my credentials it will ask me to open Google Chrome instead of Safari?
Hi Martino, you do have Safari on your computer. You can't delete it. To change you default browser settings, just go into your system preferences, under general and about half way down you will see choose browser.
@@Carl_Pullein it says that I can't delete it and it remains unable
@@trbmr5 Exactly. You cannot delete Safari. Make sure you download the Chrome app to your computer and then go into your system preferences, under general and about half way down you will see choose browser.
@@Carl_Pullein ok, I've set it for Google Chrome, but it doesn't change, because it says that it want to open Safari. Any idea what to do?
@@trbmr5 Hmmm the only thing I can suggest now is you restart your computer. After that, I'm not sure what the problem is.
so you use both calendars?
Only Google Calendar. I use Apple's calendar app as my calendar and my Google Calendar is connected to that.
Ive tried everything and its not working on my phone or mac
Hmmm not sure what to suggest. You do need t set up Google in your accounts section in preferences and then make sure calendar is turned on.
Carl Pullein i done this multiple times 😭
How do I get to my Apple Calendar, since that's the first step you show..but you don't say how.
Your Apple Calendar is built into your Mac Computer (and iphone/ipad) it's just there. All you need do is open applications and search for calendar. Or tap Command + Space bar and type "calendar" in the search box. Hit return.
I wish you wouldn't say go over here, then go "over here" then go "over here". Where is over here?
I will try to remember next time, Cary. My apologies.
I am confused already - I don;t have a gmail account so it is asking me to Read, compose, send, and permanently delete all your email from Gmail
See, edit, download, and permanently delete your contacts
See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar HELP
If you do not have a Google account and you are sure the message is coming from Google, you can delete everything and start afresh.
