Javier Richtofen I loved the MSX Metal Gear 2 though never played it until it was an extra game to play on Metal Gear Solid 3 Substance or whatever it was called. That final battle between Big Boss (Naked snake) and his son Solid Snake was epic.
I feel like I’m going to cry during the remake. I hope the nail this cutscene and make it give you the same goosebumps and feeling. The build-up, tension, the heroism and how epic this was. This was my freaking childhood and I joined the Marines because I loved Snake so much. Man good times.

After the events of snake eater, she started working on cloning programs and later on she became the head of Foxhounds medical staff (i think....) and because foxhound was under the control of the patriots she was able to do some shady stuff that was against the law, for example she put big boss into a coma after the zanzibar incident and she used gray fox to test various kinds of bullshit for example the exoskeleton and she kept him drugged so he couldnt do anything against being experimented (i think but im not sure she was also the reason that gray fox had those mental problems, like beating his head to the ground etc.)

I remember seeing this opening scene for the first time at E3 2004. The game released a few months later but I didn’t have a PS2 yet so I couldn’t pick it up. Imagine it as a umbrella compared to bird wings. The parachutes that are more wing like, or more of a rectangle are meant for moving longer distances. While you see in cartoons with umbrella science, that the people just kind of gently float down. The slits could allow for wind to flow out the back and create a momentum horizontally.
I believe that those are slits to allow for more forward momentum as jumps with 'chutes that are circular tend to have just a vertical decent. 10:50 you can see it looks like they're mainly in the back and slightly to the left.
I used to think mgs1 was the best. When I went and played this - I was amazed - period. Now I would rank this as the best ps2 game I've ever played. (I know, the original wasn't in HD because the ps2 only has a resolution of 480i)
I had a teacher in highschool she didn't look like a gamer in the slightest (short chubby mid to late 30's with a classic can I speak to you manager Karen cut) but man oh man if you got her started on metal gear (and Nintendo to some degree) she could talk your ear off.
