1:56 - "...Drizzle, Drizzle, Drizzle, Drizzle." That's my dog's name - haha (7lb Chihuahua). Thanks for responding to my comments! It shows you guys are sincere and genuine - really appreciate it. Colorado is amazing, and I loved watching you guys paint it in such a positive way. Don't listen to the haters, your videos flow perfectly; keeps my attention all the way through, and I find myself smiling and laughing the whole time. Thanks again! Already looking forward to your next video! 😎
My brother and I were going to Telluride for the first time and stopped in some little town to get gas. My brother asked the attendant how to get to Telluride and he said, " Well go up this way about two miles," as he pointed, " and then take a left then , no that's not the way." He scratched his chin and said, "No you go over that way for five miles and then", he stopped and scratched his chin again, looked at my brother and said, "You know buddy, you can't get there from here."
Wife and I visited there September 2020 in peak fall time ..still one of my favorite places ever ..so glad you guys had a good time there and experience it during fall time too!
I’m loving the western/southwestern CO stuff. I lived in that part of the state for 30 years and get a kick out of watching these places through your lens. Keep it up!
The waterfall is the best thing about Telluride as far as scenic stuff goes and you didn't even show it. It believe it falls 860 feet and it's a lot of water.
I never really thought what Telluride would be like but I do like the vibe. Definitely reminds of Lake Tahoe. Loved and laughed with Nathan’s adorable stories with ‘pompous accent’ 😂 and always great shots and reasons to go visit. Safe and dry travels 😊
I love Telluride and the surrounding area. After having lived there for 5 years in the 90s it is almost too heartbreaking to return. The lifestyle is not anywhere close to what I had become accustomed to, and the vast majority of the people who inhabited the town when I was there are all living elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, Telluride is an amazing town. It's magic truly lies in the rich history, and those majestic mountains, so I encourage a visit. However, the days of bartering your way through the off-season are long gone so if you're hoping to drop-out and drop--in in Colorado you might want to try Durango instead. More jobs, more housing, and more affordable amenities.
I use to live there for 9 years. I was fortunate to have a place to live. But the prices are out of control. I'm sure you paid 14 bucks for that burrito. Unfortunately it's unaffordable if you're not a trust fund person.
Re: Housing Problem… Don’t blame the Rich AF Homeowners! What happened is that Covid made a big dent in tourism and restaurants and tourist-oriented businesses had to cut staff, which affected housing when service workers moved. Apartment and small unit condo owners converted to the already-increasing, fast-money Air BnB business, making it difficult and unaffordable for service workers to move back in. The level and quality of service in Telluride and Mountain Village is gradually recovering, but it will be a while IF it ever gets back to pre-Covid levels. The town of telluride is taking steps to develop affordable rental properties nearby. The rich AF homeowners had nothing to do with it.
Sorry. If it was about Telluride I would've watched it but it soon became about both of you wanting to schmuck it up for the camera. I lasted until the 3:50 mark when the singing started. I would've jumped out your car if I was in it.
KJV Philippians 3 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
I don’t know. You’re putting out after a week a part just 10 minute videos. This one has a 1-minute recap at the beginning and a 1-minute sponsor stuck in the middle. And ends with a minute on wine schtick at the end. Not the most content lately.
Awesome video as always, ya'll never disappoint! And you made a really important point that many folks don't realize, so many places like this need workers for the hospitality industry but there's no affordable housing. Our good friends moved to Montana several years ago and told us the same is true in places like Big Sky there. It's a real problem.🥲
Thanks for watching ya'll!🤘🏽
