As someone who has to order all their yerba online, a grocery store with an entire aisle of yerba mate brands and styles was nuts. La Tranquera 👌
This might be my favorite video yet! Thank-you for teaching us about the Argentinan culture!

Hi friend, I'm Argentine and I live in the USA. I prefer a yerba mate that has less caffeine. The one I get in New Jersey is called Rosa Monte and it doesn't have much caffeine. I'm very happy that you teach how to drink mate with friends. Enjoy your meal.
As an Argentinian, watching an Aussie having a 'normal sunday' for most Argies its something I didnt knew I needed! Cheers for all the people from down undah!
this is like an advanced tutorial on how to be a real argentinian, great job
cheers for the video really enjoyed learning about yerba mate safe travels mate!
Thank you for explaining to us mate. I remember staying in a hostel in Sydney once and there was a table of Argentinians sitting around the communal tables with this strange looking implement full of a herb like substance. I just thought it was Tea (oops). But now i'm keen to give it a try 😅
Great explanation of our culture of mate! I really love your videos ! I'm always checking when you're uploading a new one! Greetings from San Rafael Mendoza! Piece of advice: use Jarilla when you cook asado , it's very common in our country and adds a special flavour when you add al little to the fire or you can put it on the asado itself. You had a couple of branches right next to your parrilla in this video.
As an Aussie. (My father is Spanish and I can speak the language) When I was about 19, I stayed in a backpackers hostel once to save on accommodation for a bucks party. One morning, this lovely Argentinian girl within 5-10 years of my age, asked me to sit down with her and share a mate. This was absolutely foreign to me. She was explaining the customs of it and the social aspect. It really blew me away. Sharing something sometimes isnt something you do at the best of times, let alone a new drink with a stranger that could barely speak english. But might I say, that one experience has stuck with me my whole life since. And I have thought about it many a time since. Until just recently when I've decided that drinking Mate is something I want to do. And I wouldnt have known about it and its amazing effects and benifits had it not been for this lady. (yes I did touch the straw to go to stir it up and move it before she yelled at me (in a joking way) we laughed. Knowing what I know now. What a rookie. Stay safe brother. Loved the video
Nice video!! If you are coming back to argentina and go to Buenos Aires by the route 3, i'll wait for you in Tres Arroyos to eat something and have a good talk.
Love this video. Wish I could have an aisle here in the states packed with yerba. I’m Latino from the states but t more Mexican than Argentinian so Yerba culture is new to me. I was in Australia over the fall and winter (April - June) in 2022 and loved that as well. Definitely will be checking out more of your channel.
I'm a new subscriber and love to find out about traditions and cultures from around the world. Thank you for your interesting video 😊 Safe travels ❤
Idk if perhaps a little collab with Yes Theory would be possible somewhere along the road? I know their channel is big, but I think you and your adventure would be a great fit with their type of videos as well as their audience.
Very possible. Thanks for that 🙌🏼
Ohh so cool. Travelling to Central american in December will keep an eye out for you!
Hey Aussie, Mate is a traditional GUARANI drink and the Guarani territory includes Bolivia, south and center of Bolivia drinks a lot of mate also. Keep safe mate!
I can't wait to watch the new video, I always watch them on the day they are out, they are always a highlight of my week and Iv even convinced my twin to watch you with me, can't wait to watch the new one
This truly means so so much. Thanks a heap?
you've inspired me to start planning a trip to do something similar, lets see where life takes us. Sending love from Florida.
Best of luck legend! Crush it
A cup of coffee has approx 95 mg of caffeine, and the mate between 30 and 50 mg. It also has vitamins A, B, C and E. It has minerals too and several amino acids. If you suffer heartburn, you should avoid the stronger brands or buy the special ones.
Great video, try tilting a little bit the glass when pouring the coke so it doesnt make that much foam! Safe travels!
¡Gracias! Te estás Argentinizando.
Te a a costar dejar Argentina
Sos un crack amigo. Muchísimas graciasss 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
G’day mate! We just got back last night from a cruise around NZ and Hobart, Melbourne & a couple days in Sydney. Love your beautiful country and already missing the accents! Love your channel!
Me encanta qué te guste nuestra cultura ,del mate ,él asado ,él fernet y muchas cosas más ¡¡ bien venido a Argentina che ¡¡¡🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
No sé dónde te encuentras ahora? Espero vuelvas pronto ¡¡ bts abracito desde Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 💜 💚 país dé gauchos ¡¡
Un gran domingo ... por muchos más 🥂
I use a different cup that is more pear shaped. so it is pretty much full strength from the start it is difficult to keep leaves dry. but I like my mate strong.
I’ve been living in Scotland for ages and every Monday is like a Drink your Mate motivator 😂 thank you
Pajarito is our families choice for Yerba
Well done, you have the mate protocol right on! Maybe check on starting it with lukewarm water and leave it "hinchar" for 5m before pouring the hot water. Good your next stop is Uruguay, you'll learn the real deal there.
Es muy domingoooo! Thank you for sharing all of this knowledge, super interesting :)
Bro, those Stanley MATE thermos, the ones specifically labeled MATE are only available there in Argentina. They go on eBay state side for like triple what they are in Argentina. I'm super celoso.
Calabaza mates though ❤️❤️🥵
You need to try the Anna Park brand! It’s the best! 100% Organic!
Mate, what a video. I really enjoy watching all your videos!!! I hope Chile treats you well. Good roads!
Brilliant young man, jelious in New Jersey USA ,I love Tuk Tuks seeking one here.
Hey! Man if youll be in Cali i would love to host you if you need a place to stay!! Will show you around!
I never heard of mate until I started watching your videos but the other day I found a Canned mate so I bought it, definitely wasn’t great but I’d be willing to try a real one because I know that a canned one is probably not the same as the real deal.
The mate hi has, and the ones made of wood get better with time because the flavor gets embedded in them. Then you need to choose your type of yerba, there are bitter and stronger brands than Mañanita.
750ml Fernet Branca in Sydney costs AU$85, 1kg Yerba AU$14-$20....ridiculous prices
Exijo Canje con La Mañanita YAA!! 😂
Man, you are a master of Mate allready!
Thank you friend!
I tried Mate because of you! Too bitter for me, but interesting to try!
Comment for the algorithm. :)
Still here watching, always a pleasure. 😊
Who's got their Popcorn and mate ready?

yes,you have "pampa direct" in Australia. It IS a online shop. They have all the stuff to prepare Mate. Let me know if you need some reccomendation,I am argentinian!
You overcooked the steak should be much more pink on the inside.
I thought fernet was Scandinavia
Dude is jacked up on caffeine
He sounds like he has fried his brain on more than just Mate
@@Kelsmith2Rude and childish comment 😑.
@@mystifiedmargot1970 welcome to the internet. 😂 Are you new here?

That's gonna be me soon too after this! Enjoy legend
Just bought a kilo of Rosamonte on Amazon for $15 US. Seventy cents makes me feel like I’m being ripped off.
It be like that 😂 Rosamonte is gooood though
HELLO..I'M FROM CORDOBA, I WANT TO MEET YOU...ARE YOU STILL IN CORDOBA, WHERE ARE YOU??
👍add yours for the video
Thanks for watching along with us in the Premiere 🙌🏼
Mate, Fernet, asado, te falta un Rastrojero
Cow = Beef
Pig = Pork
😋😛😜🤪😝
Yooo, just dont like the way you say yerba ( sherba is not the way)
By the way. You can add mint leaves, an orange skin or a tea spoon of sugar for those that like flavored or sweet. Personally, I like it a bit sweeter. I don't like it bitter. Did you share mate in a group of people? How did it go? 🧉
Mate is spreading all over Europe now like a cold. Thanks to all South American football players.
I'm curious. Did you get the chance to listen to the national anthem of Argentina? It's very similar to the Australian one. Check it out. 😊
Are you not supposed to start with dummy water. Room temp water to ready the yerba,
