YNW Melly's Lawyer Blasts State's Case, Urges Jury to Set Rapper Free in Closing Argument
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 вер 2024
- During his closing argument, defense attorney Stuart Adelstein attempted to poke holes in the state’s theory that YNW Melly killed his best friends, YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser, because he was angry, greedy, and wanted to be initiated into the Bloods gang. “There is a lack of evidence,” he said. “There is a conflict in the evidence. The evidence itself and the investigation itself stinks. I’d use another word but I’d probably be held in contempt.”

From what ive seen, i think the defense did a good job considering what theyre up against. They see everything against them before the trial and have to know which way to fight the case. Bortland showed up to hospital and they found blood under the clothes he put over new clothes he had on.
Even if that's true Leah they have to prove that. I understand what you're saying, but not everything is what it looks like. Can't send anyone young or old to death without proving it
You late to the party mam. All of these things have been long since addressed through other evidence.

What this defence attorney speaks is very convincing! 👏
you woke up this morning and chose to speak facts
I’m with Melly’s attorney without all the rambling. He made valid points very serious valid statements about the DA’s and the incredible investigation the detectives performed as well the witnesses repented statements it lacks to an entirety to prove guilt. The defense should have slammed the door on the state since they opened it with hidden text messages from Quando Rondo being… he is linked to other murders and being incarcerated as this trial was ongoing for other crimes. As said too much evidence is missing to prove guilt.
Quando and Melly was friends?

the bl00d on the driver proved the was in the driver's seat when they were sh0t inside the vehicle. the lack of bl00d in the seat behind the driver proves that someone was sitting behind the driver. it is unreasonable to believe that anyone other than melly was sitting there. the studio video proved where he was seated and his phone proved he was at the scene of the sh00ting.
Even if hes found guilty there is going to be a second trial. When the prosecutor tried to bring in evidence that was barred and said it in front of the jury, that made this trial a free try for Melly. He is either found not guilty, or if hes found guilty it will be overturned on appeal.
Finally someone knows what they are talking about
Let's hope to God not!!!

Remembering those innocent souls lost that night at the hands of someone whom they trusted to their last breath! Extending my prayers to both families. So sad that that they have to go thru all of this!
He ain even do it that’s the thing. So much wrong with this case.. half the people subpoena were threatened anyways.
@@Akaza-Painhow tf he ain’t do it? You’re focusing on the LIES and avoiding the ACTUAL evidence.
Lol let’s chill out with all this “innocent soul” crap, they’re gang members.
@@NexonNLthank you, atleast one person haveing an actual functioning brain. If it was for me lock them all up

Even with the reasonable doubt thing, a lot of jurys still say guilty based on the narratives provided. Otherwise 99% of cases would finish with a not guilty. Defense teams are always able to create a reasonable doubt in any type of case.
That’s what I’m saying!!! That’s why jurors are literally incompetent. If there’s reasonable doubt it’s not guilty.
I totally agree
You're absolutely right 👍👍
99% of cases aren’t resulting in life or death for the outcome. That’s why lawyers say a death penalty case is the easiest to beat because of the burden on the state.

I keep picturing the 2 victims being killed by their own friend in cold blood. Am sure once the first one was killed, the second victim may have pleaded for his life. Mr Glass was so furious on this that he even texted Melly sounding very angry at this situation, explaining how the mother of one of the victim was so much in pain. Poor young boys who just wanted to make a living through the rap music entertainment industry.
The beer must be good after a closing argument like that !
He might need to wet his whistle pranced around like a former disco daddy.
They said they shot back when the car started getting shot up, nobody has thought that bortlen and molly could’ve accidentally hit juvy and sakchaser while firing back in fear of their lives
After watching the entire trial I think the doubt his too high for saying Melly did it, and even more doubt about premeditation if he killed them.
Are you a hip hop/Melly fan?
The defense witness said that the Mitsubishi pulled over to pick Melly up so was that before or after the alleged drive by shooting because clearly the video shows Melly leaving the studio in the jeep with Henry and the two Deceased (May They Rest in Peace)
😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
He’s playing so nice😂😂😂 No one’s buying it
Ion know he nailing the witnesses and he on point
Allegedly, someone in the vehicle with the victims killed them. Melly was in the vehicle with his so call friends but does not know who killed his friends from grade school/band mates. If he didn’t do it then who did? Allegedly, when a suspect commits a crime and get away with it, the suspect will commit the same crime or greater! GOD & karma will take care of the guilty! 👀
God has NOTHING to do with it!!!!🤨🤦🏻♂️🤣 “the evidence”, and plenty of it, through forensics and other scientific/proven/reliable methods that are the ONLY way to actual TRUTH is what will “take care of” the accused. Not even trying to argue, lol I’m JSSSS.
What's the evidence that melly was in the car at the time of the crime? And the studio recording hasn't been proven not to be sufficient evidence to conclude he was there.
@@zomb7138there was no blood spatters on mellys seat meaning he was sat in the seat
@@Flipbrokeprove it
@@Flipbroke That only means that something or someone was there. No proof it was Melly. Maybe it was but you can't convict on a maybe.
He is most likely guilty af, but cant be proven to be. For rap this is W, but for justice this is most likely L
I doubt he gets the death penalty tho but may get a guilty verdict but he could appeal that and may or may not get a bond
cant be proven to be which means hes not guilty yall just wanna lock someone up cause of they status smh
@@Chiefnkeefnif he did not get a bond over the last three years he would be no bonded during appeal
There’s proof that Melly is guilty
This lawyer just reaffirmed it by telling the jury about the resources they have! But the defense DIDNT bring anything in to defend Melly!!
He been in jail for 4 years already
Grandstanding is all he has! Highly paid but didn’t even call one witness. Melly is guilty IMO!
He called a witness.
Watch the whole trial before you comment on something.
@@WhoCaresMyGuy this time I care, because you're right. People need to do some motherfuckin research.
He's totally going down though I reckon. But details matter.
You realize it's not the defense that has to prove anything right. It's on the state to prove without a doubt that he did it. The prosecutor/ detective did the defense job for them
