Honestly it should be unconstitutional to force people to testify or bully people into statements. Even if she did give him a ride that has nothing to do with her knowing if he had committed the crimes. They hung jail over this lady head and had her fired from her job then expect her to go into court and help them win their case. If you tell people that you know, didn’t commit the crime you’re investigating, but is asking for information they’re bond to give you a statement that may or may not even be true.
I didn't know that ty for info it makes perfect sense to me she wants to keep her family safe as well but she threw her daughter in jail and mom lost job it's no wonder why she hostile!!!!!
She said she quit her job because his people offered to take care of her if she didn’t speak on it, is what I’ve heard. If so, I don’t feel bad for her at all and they have every reason to drill her for the truth.
Even if it's to take murders off the street? Especially when that person is being paid to not provide key information. That's what perpetuates this type of behavior.
@lace1245 you are correct. That's what happen and she gave a statement to that fact but now she's saying she don't renege ever giving a statement to police about that. She doesn't know where he daughter is, she doesn't remember sending the messages. Some stuff that was in those messages and that transpired with her daughter and her is important to the case. But they have already been tainted more than likely so its no wonder she don't remember nothing. Now prosecution basically have to try force her to give the evidence they want but her reluctance will sway the jury to the prosecution side.

She is an embarrassment for the hospital she works for. I wouldn’t want her as my nurse. She wasn’t just uncooperative, she is obstructing justice because Melly’s manager paid her. That’s my opinion. if you watch the full footage you will see she is deliberately lying about what she believes could implicate Melly, what she has been paid and trained to respond. This witness ONLY softens when she is directly speaking in reference to Melly. It is absolutely disgusting. I am mortified that she had the gall to get up there. She doesn’t even recognize her OWN phone number. She is a pathetic liar.
I bet after this case is over, they are going to prosecute her for perjuring herself, and I bet her memory about what she said will be as clear as crystal
Being a criminal defense attorney myself this should be an immediate mistrial.. if not for clear lack of evidence and being able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.. the prosecution badgered the witness almost the entire time on the stand.. when she said she felt threatened she should have been dismissed at that point.
Yeah, when the prosecutor stood back up to for the second round of questions she just embarrassed herself. She’s trying to have a cat fight in a court room. That was so unprofessional, egotistical and flat out disrespectful to the family of the victims. This isn’t about her and her ego this is about the victims and whether or not Melly is innocent or guilty.
They only took this long to go to court because they were still looking for smoking gun. My GMA was the DA for many years in Atlanta. She’s been following this case. She always said if they had enough to convict they wouldn’t of took this long to go to court. Witnesses change stories all the time

People this lady was threatened by the prosecutor and has been constantly harassed. They have cost her job and thus have put her on the defensive. Just cause she doesn’t want to be there doesn’t mean she’s doing anything wrong. She has been pressed and threatened by the DA’s office; and they were wrong to treat her in this way. This case has huge holes in it. Many believe this man is guilty because of what they have seen in the news but the evidence is greatly lacking. He is innocent till proven guilty. I know many are angry and want justice but make sure your getting true justice and not some mess the prosecutor throws together. The prosecutor pressured this woman so much and now that you have her she has said nothing that helps prove this young man’s guilt. They have no hard evidence and are basically running on their best guesses of what they think may have happened. I don’t remember my phone number because these days I do more texting and sms more than anything she isn’t lying she’s just being honest she has no reason to lie for this young man. He is no longer with her daughter. I really don’t get what she does for the DAs case. 😮 This was a waste of time. This whole thing is going to hurt their case
Prosecutors wanted a mistrial it’s in their favor since the trial wasn’t going their way, it’s the equivalent of flipping a chess board over when your about to lose knowing both players will have to start over but now you know their moves
@cannon5041 because it's obvious she's lying and u want the jury to ready her body language and clearly see she's lying by asking her the same thing 100 different ways she swore she helped him but she absolutely helped the prosecution by far
Imo through viewing this episode, I feel there is an issue between witness and prosecution that clearly make the witness uncomfortable. It's obviously very concerning when a witness gets on the stand and starts off by saying 'I feel threatened '.. 🤔 Something rubs me the wrong way with the prosecution.
The counselor and the witness has some personal issues. The witness is lying about changing her statement because she was paid off or was told Melly has a 50% chance of beating the case bc they don’t have the gun and they lacking evidence.
She never admitted to lying, they don’t get to guess right or wrong, they get to make the decision if there’s reasonalable doubt melly did it . And this creates reasonable doubt tbh
She’s a nurse, there’s no bad memory on her part, she has a high stress job that requires you to remember so many things, especially with medications, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with her memory.
It came off to me that she was deceptive. Either because of fear or a pay out. It may have come across to the jury that way too that doesn't put the defendant in a good light
@@TinaB111 I think you are confused. This lady is the prosecutions witness and she was afraid of the prosecutor and how she would put her in jail again as the witness stated. Therefore this was bad for the prosecutor it put hole in her circumstantial evidence.

For a prosecutor to keep asking if a document “refreshes a witness’s recollection” ad nauseam is very harassing. Bcuz whether ms Holmes says yes or no it would feel like she could be charged with a crime. Thats not the the way a witness impeachment should work.

Felicia Holmes is a horrible person when police went to interview her, she was the one to tell them everything she knew the day those young men were killed and, on that day, she was still the mother of his girlfriend, nobody put a gun or knife make her speak, also on that day she provided for her own household so she wasnt needy, vulnerable. Once Melly and his team read what she said that is when they went to work on her even Melly lawyers got what she said and knew it would hurt him at trial so he promise her the world for her to do what she doing today and prior trying to avoid the state to why she got arrested she left her job trusting Melly word and still thinking she going to be rich after this trial. This lady didnt get to see gun he had close to her daughter ID on that video it could have been her daughter overall Felicia Holmes know Melly killed his friends. State is wrong by asking her to confirm what she told after two young men were killed, no Felicia is wrong look like fool on stand. No matter the outcome of this case, I have to say seeing these trials play out is very intriguing. Although the situation is not good, I’ve found myself getting excited when watching the lawyers and others go back and forth.
If I was a jury every time she said she “didn’t remember something” that would pretty much say yes she does remember it but if she said “no that didn’t happen” I would also believe her. She’s saying she doesn’t remeber becuase she does and it’s not in favor of acquitting the defendant which is going to be a massive pay day for her if he wins.

back here after day 11, I want to remind people this lady came to them first then agreed to do the depo. She was a key part of the case and since she got paid off she hampered the trial. Imagine if they were able to confirm melly facetimed his girl which would have placed him at the scene of the crime with addition to medical examiners and sergeant Williams testimony. This case would be finishing up now but nope now we have to sit through a whole days worth of the State submitting Snapchat pictures
She’s a horrible liar. What mother doesn’t know where her daughter is. That prosecutor is still out of line but the jury knows she’s not who that witness is really afraid of.
I don't blame her for acting the way she did. That gang would kill her and her daughter if she cried in court. That's a real potential threat. She is just protecting her family. I know from experience that they will follow you across country.
This is what the state has lol an attack on the mom of an ex-girlfriend that clearly wasn't there at the murder probably knows as much as we do. Melly is coming home no matter if he is innocent or guilty. And they knew his rap status would make this a big case they fumbled
2 people were killed, and now she's trying to cover for them. She lied and tried to protect and cover for them. When you take a life, you have to give a life, and that life is your own.
I can’t stand the way the questions are being carried out and the fact that it’s constantly allowed after she repeatedly says I DONT REMEMBER! Their case seems hella weak
This was recommended by UA-cam so I have no side to stand on. I felt extremely uncomfortable watching a lawyer trying to get a person to become a liar on the stand, I have major problems remembering what I did 6 months ago and I wouldn't remember at all what I did in 2018, bullying is wrong and the lawyer was bullying all way through this, it's wrong. No one wants to be a liar in court under oath, but still on and on the lawyer intimidated the witness 'do you remember in your statement..."? "I don't remember..." and yet the lawyer kept asking more information about the same thing 😢 it only needs asking once but it was over and over and over relentless bullying to try to get the witness to commit perjury
Prosecution should never have subpoenaed this witness. It was clear she would not have voluntarily offered anything back when her daughter was threatened with accessory after the fact- a stretch and certainly not now after she's clearly expressed distaste for how the prosecution has handled her and her daughter. She wouldn't have given it up either way. While I think her demeanor could be damaging to the defense it is equally as damaging to the prosecution.
@@mgs9136 I agree it’s not great but I think because the prosecution called her it makes them look sloppy and with holes in the way they’re trying this

And im like why they got that ankle bracelet on her and why they put her in jail to come here .. and then go .. yeah thats why she dont wanna be here .. lower iq humans will go with your route
She is a criminal for lying repeatedly on the stand. She's an accessory and took a payoff to lie. That's the definition of a criminal. Somebody needs a refresher course on the laws 😂
Breakdown of her testimony and the prosecutions goal The prosecution asked the witnesses questions that she already had the answers for in her hands, she asks them over and over in different ways to solidify the fact she’s lying. What seals it even more is when asked to see her testimony to recount her memory she says it won’t help. Everyone else in this trial has done so to help recollect your memories it’s only 5 years not 20. Also she tried to dodge two subpoenas so they had to get a warrant for her arrest and give her a in person subpoena she has a ankle monitor bc she’s a flight risk, the evidence shows she helped conceal the truth for money which now makes her a accomplice to the crime. Now this is just the first week this witness was not the most important one this one laid the foundation for the next one. The prosecution is laying down the beyond reasonable doubt right now, but will save the guilty for the end.
Oh bro she absolutely helped the prosecutors she gave a statement already to s cop they will bring him in to testify like this woman helped bury him this case is easily and I mean easily won by the state dumbest criminals ever 😂😂😂😂
Bc she an accomplice hence why she currently has a ankle monitor if she was his witness with the proof we have provided it would mean she would have to lie on the stand due to her staying otherwise in her original statements
Yess.. That is a Great question. outsider looking in imo the state is looking for what they think may be perceived as "not credible" witnesses to help their case and look bad on the defendant.
@@youngtev259 yes, because she knew that makes her an accomplice. If she just picked him up and didn’t know it would be different but we’re seeing how she’s lying on purpose to not saying anything. If she really was just someone who picked him up her statement should be simple

Yup got paid
It’s odd how melly’s girl mom was ready to snitch when they didn’t give her money this is the worst type of human I’ve seen
She retracted every statement dude 😆
@lace1245 you are correct. That's what happen and she gave a statement to that fact but now she's saying she don't renege ever giving a statement to police about that. She doesn't know where he daughter is, she doesn't remember sending the messages. Some stuff that was in those messages and that transpired with her daughter and her is important to the case. But they have already been tainted more than likely so its no wonder she don't remember nothing. Now prosecution basically have to try force her to give the evidence they want but her reluctance will sway the jury to the prosecution side.
Mom’s body language says it all: LIE LIE LIE!!
She can't remember her statements from 2018 but remember staying at someone house and their name. The truth came out and it's obvious she a pathological liar. A family trying to get justice and the world filled with COWARDS.

no, this witness is disgustingly motivated by $$ -this isn’t her way of protesting. she doesn’t even soften when speaking of Mariah, her daughter, only when she’s referring to Melly.

I know many are angry and want justice but make sure your getting true justice and not some mess the prosecutor throws together. Breakdown of her testimony and the prosecutions goal
The prosecution asked the witnesses questions that she already had the answers for in her hands, she asks them over and over in different ways to solidify the fact she’s lying.
