I don’t even remember my phone number from 5 years ago. I may remember certain things that may have happened within that year but that doesn’t mean I’m a liar if I simply don’t remember. The way the prosecutor is structuring her questions it will make the witness look wrong if she were to answer yes or no. Especially since she keeps asking the same question repeatedly in different ways.

@Jai tella I've had 3 different phone numbers in the past 5 years, 2 year phone plans are standard, and not everyone wants to pay an extra fee to keep there original number. It's perfectly normal to not remember a 10 digit number you used 5 years ago. I definitely don't remember my number from 2018, let alone a relatives or friends phone number from back then

Lets be real if I asked alot of u what yall ate last tuesday for lunch you wouldn’t be able to remember…not remembering certain details from 5 yrs ago is believable. Furthermore when she said she remember speaking with law enforcement but not remembering their face nor names is very believable and consistent with her inability to remember certain details. I’m almost sure alot of things happened in a blur for her and she very well possibly may have checked out mentally at that time therefore retaining those memories would be difficult. The reason why she will never forget when she was arrested and went to jail because that memory was tied to emotion hence she didn’t emotionally checked out but was probably angry at how she was being treated therefore remembers. She seems very credible to me. I can’t remember numbers I had a yr ago 2 yrs ago etc. The prosecution is coming off like their trying to coerce people into implicating the defendant. The bullying is waaayy too evident here

Even if she did give him a ride that has nothing to do with her knowing if he had committed the crimes. They hung jail over this lady head and had her fired from her job then expect her to go into court and help them win their case. If you tell people that you know, didn’t commit the crime you’re investigating, but is asking for information they’re bond to give you a statement that may or may not even be true.

People this lady was threatened by the prosecutor and has been constantly harassed. They have cost her job and thus have put her on the defensive. Just cause she doesn’t want to be there doesn’t mean she’s doing anything wrong. She has been pressed and threatened by the DA’s office; and they were wrong to treat her in this way. This case has huge holes in it. Many believe this man is guilty because of what they have seen in the news but the evidence is greatly lacking. He is innocent till proven guilty. I know many are angry and want justice but make sure your getting true justice and not some mess the prosecutor throws together. The prosecutor pressured this woman so much and now that you have her she has said nothing that helps prove this young man’s guilt. They have no hard evidence and are basically running on their best guesses of what they think may have happened. I don’t remember my phone number because these days I do more texting and sms more than anything she isn’t lying she’s just being honest she has no reason to lie for this young man. He is no longer with her daughter. I really don’t get what she does for the DAs case. 😮 This was a waste of time. This whole thing is going to hurt their case

Once Melly and his team read what she said that is when they went to work on her even Melly lawyers got what she said and knew it would hurt him at trial so he promise her the world for her to do what she doing today and prior trying to avoid the state to why she got arrested she left her job trusting Melly word and still thinking she going to be rich after this trial. Prosecution should never have subpoenaed this witness. It was clear she would not have voluntarily offered anything back when her daughter was threatened with accessory after the fact- a stretch and certainly not now after she's clearly expressed distaste for how the prosecution has handled her and her daughter. She wouldn't have given it up either way. While I think her demeanor could be damaging to the defense it is equally as damaging to the prosecution.

Breakdown of her testimony and the prosecutions goal
The prosecution asked the witnesses questions that she already had the answers for in her hands, she asks them over and over in different ways to solidify the fact she’s lying. What seals it even more is when asked to see her testimony to recount her memory she says it won’t help. Everyone else in this trial has done so to help recollect your memories it’s only 5 years not 20. Also she tried to dodge two subpoenas so they had to get a warrant for her arrest and give her a in person subpoena she has a ankle monitor bc she’s a flight risk, the evidence shows she helped conceal the truth for money which now makes her a accomplice to the crime. Now this is just the first week this witness was not the most important one this one laid the foundation for the next one. The prosecution is laying down the beyond reasonable doubt right now, but will save the guilty for the end.
