Yes, most all their songs are based in those hamonies! "Carry On", "Just a Song Before I Go", "Marrakesh Express", "Teach Your Children", "Our House", and their epic masterpiece "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" you must hear!
Love the sound of CS&N They were one of the folk rock supergroups of the 60's-70's. I had the album this song "Helplessly Hoping" came out on. Love this song as it is full of alliterations. Other songs on the album are "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" "Marrakesh Express", "Wooden Ships" etc. Another great album is "Deja Vu" where Neil Young joined them. It has other hit songs such as "Teach Your Children", "Woodstock", "Carry On" & "Our House".
They have always been known for their harmonies, no women singing on this song, I could be wrong but they have never had an women sing backup. The higher voice you hear is Graham Nash. Woodstock, Wooden Ships a must.
Dude, CSN is an absolutely epic and truly historic group of 3 men (you didn’t hear a woman you heard Graham Nash most likely), and sometimes a 4th member Neal Young. Their first (I think) public performance was at Woodstock. There’s a ton to check out but start with the entire Deja Vu album!
My first album purchase! Saw them in concert a few times - my first time falling in love with harmonies. Still know all of the words to all of the songs on this album. Do this whole album!!! Anything by them is amazing.
True masters of harmony! Another song with amazing harmony that you should check out for yourself is Seven Bridges Road by The Eagles. (They are bad about blocking but maybe you could just listen to it on your own, it's well worth it and a short song over all. But if it is allowed through on your channel so we can all enjoy you hearing it, all the better ha!)
That's "no lady"....that's Graham Nash ........LOL ( Nash was in The Hollies and part of the original British invasion in the 60's ) He also dated Joni Mitchell for several years.
These guys were one of the biggest bands in the 70s. Some folk, country, and rock. And even 4-part harmonies after Neil Young joined up. Besides his guitar and harmonica solos. They were an all-star band!
No auto-tune..... Just three perfectly matched voices. Catch a live version of this, they sound just as good live. A true "supergroup," Nash from The Hollies, Stills from Buffalo Springfield and Crosby from The Byrds.
They harmonized so well together, wooden ships is nice one,or suite Judy blue eyes, Woodstock,Wasted on the way are just a few, there are lots ,some CSN some are CSN&Y with Neil young
This and their second album, Deja Vu are two of the gresatest ever. One of the first super groups -- David Crosby from The Byrds, Graham Nash from The Hollies and Stepehen Stills from Buffalo Springfield. On their second album they were joined by Neil Young, also from Buffalo Springfield. Suite: Judy Blue Eyes is their opus.
All of their songs are like this. They are great harmony singers, and yet each of them also were successful solo artists as well. You need to go down this Rabbit hole of Crosby Stills Nash and sometimes Young.
This is one of my favorite albums. By the way, it's Crosby, Stills & Nash (not Stills Nash, like it's one person). The high harmony is by Graham Nash. All three are from different bands, and there's some good stuff in their catalog. Sometimes Neil Young is part of the group (CSN&Y). Have fun checking them out.
Crosby,Stills, and Nash, " Helplessly Ho😮ping". Referred to as the Beatles of the 70's. More, CSN, "Site Judy Blue Eyes", "Wooden Ships", "Long Time Gone", "Almost Cut My Hair*, "Woodstock". "Teach your children well", "Our House", "Southern Cross"... Oh, I don't do samples, only whole's,,,
If you think you've heard something like this before, it might be Home Free's version. You can imagine what they do with this, right? Stephen Stills wrote this song. He's one of the great songwriters of that era and a monster on the guitar. Brings a Latin feel to a lot of their music. Yes, start with Judy Blue Eyes!
There are covers of this song by other musicians like Richie Havens and the group Home Free as well as others. I am not aware of it being "sampled" It was used in a couple of movies as well. Great reaction. Take care.
From now on anyone who says, I think I’ve heard this somewhere before in another song. I’m not going to listen to that person anymore. Because everything’s been sampled and we don’t care if you know that sorry.
“Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” is a fantastic CSN song and it’s definitely mandatory to listen to whether you do a reaction or listen to it on your own. 😀

No lady. Just somebody who had a nice clean falsetto.
Graham Nash ...
Grahan Nash--the master of high harmony...not even falsetto...
They have always been known for their harmonies, no women singing on this song, I could be wrong but they have never had an women sing backup. The higher voice you hear is Graham Nash. Woodstock, Wooden Ships a must.

That is so awesome. 😁😁😁😁😁
@@AceTheHeart yeah they had a fourth member of the band his name was Neil Young you may have heard of him

For some more Great harmony from CSN , try "Guinnevere" and from Crosby/Nash---"Wind On The Water"!!
Pick a song, any song. Anything by them is freakin' amazing! Wooden Ships is an all time fave!
Some more harmonizing to die for: The Eagles singing a capella..."Seven Bridges Road" ..Give yourself a treat
Neil Young joins them, and that's Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Two of my favorites are Ohio and Find the Cost of Freedom.
When you discover a gem, and you know it will be with you forever.
All CSN songs are worth listening to and reactions
One of the best harmonizing bands ever - along with the Bee Gee's and the Eagles. Who is your best harmonizing band?
These guys were one of the biggest bands in the 70s. Some folk, country, and rock. And even 4-part harmonies after Neil Young joined up. Besides his guitar and harmonica solos. They were an all-star band!
The Masters of Harmony! No female singer here, that's Graham Nash you're hearing.
The words are cleaver and beautiful. No ladies were used in this recording.
No auto-tune..... Just three perfectly matched voices. Catch a live version of this, they sound just as good live. A true "supergroup," Nash from The Hollies, Stills from Buffalo Springfield and Crosby from The Byrds.
They have plenty of shitty nights due to one thing or another.
These guys have an extensive song catalog…masters at their craft.
The soprano is David Crosby . Unfortunately he passed away not long ago . Suite Judy Blue Eyes is great !
Suite Judy Blue Eyes, "Woodstock, and hundreds more. These guys are icons of folk Rock, along with Bob Dylan and The Byrds etc.
They harmonized so well together, wooden ships is nice one,or suite Judy blue eyes, Woodstock,Wasted on the way are just a few, there are lots ,some CSN some are CSN&Y with Neil young
Yes, "Wooden Ships" would be an excellent song to review.
I rocked with this group from a 8 track in high school .
❤ it. Rock on ✌️ (old hippie here)

One of the first super groups. Dig deep
CSN is among the top vocal harmony groups in history. Try Wooden Ships, Woodstock, Ohio, Guinevere, and much more!

One of the early super groups. Crosby (The Byrds), Stills (Buffalo Springfield) and Nash (The Hollies). Many good songs listed below. Thanks
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes next! There were no women in CSN. 🤭
There are covers of this song by other musicians like Richie Havens and the group Home Free as well as others. I am not aware of it being "sampled" It was used in a couple of movies as well. Great reaction. Take care.
You are about to go down a cavernous rabbit hole
The alliteration, tho!
Try Steve Stills, "Tree Top Flyer". You might dig it.
I still have my original album that you see here. They were known for their harmonies.
No lady... Graham Nash, formerly of The Hollies. CS&N could perform these same harmonies live, so there's no overdubbing or studio tricks here.
That was 🔥🔥🔥. Listen to," Teach your Children. By Crosby Stills and Nash ☮️
It's just those guys harmonizing, no woman. 😊
Wooden Ships is a great song
Home free does an a cappella version of this. It’s great.
If you haven’t already, please react to Home Free’s version of this song
Nice selection for a reaction! Bourbon or single malt?? 😄
Make your own sampels
From now on anyone who says, I think I’ve heard this somewhere before in another song. I’m not going to listen to that person anymore. Because everything’s been sampled and we don’t care if you know that sorry.
alliteration.
No women here bro.
It’s falsetto, not a woman
