    Fifty ( ! ) years ago an Alan Watts video at Evergreen, TESC, changed my mind. Meditation is tough for me. I always find myself waking up sprawled on the floor with one of my cheeks wet all over.

      Is sounded dangerous and risky. If you really want to achieve states of peace, loves and wisdom without this DMT. Learn to loves yourself, letting go your egos and learn how to be a Little Buddha inside you to be perfected one day as real Buddha will be forever and beyond. You will not only knows the entire universe happening, the reasons and wisdoms of applying logics in every senses. All this that you are experiencing from DMT are only temporary, a disruption of your senses and are empty in the Holy eyes of all celestial bodies. Find your real mentor or sangha (guru) so that you are not lost forever and learn to achieve reality of the universe and be awakened with enlightened by the greatest wisdom of all known to our celestial ancestors!

    • @Visible_Mind
      @Visible_Mind  Рік тому +3

      That happens to me too!
      You get yourself out of stillness by realizing, "Oh great, there's stillness!"
      What helps me in this situation is to let go of the tension in my body.
      The easiest way for me to do this is to let go of the urge to resist gravity. This relaxation of the muscles also relaxes my mind and slows down my thoughts.
      This makes it less difficult for me to return to the moment and focus my attention on observing, rather than getting carried away by thoughts :)
      Keep going my friend, you got this!

      Don't try to force the silence. If you are stressing over it not getting silent yet, just be aware that you don't control it and let it do it's thing. You simply just let everything be and watch, eventually it will become quiet on it's own

    Young people need to learn to live . Old people need to accept death. Every flower has its season. Even universe has its Time.

    • @martinjohnson4405
      @martinjohnson4405 Рік тому

      If young people would learn to accept the inevitability of death now, then they would learn to fully live now.
      The most alive old people I know are the ones who have accepted the inevitability of death.
      I know this because I am in a men's group where at 70 I am the second youngest and more than half of our group are octogenarians. Not a one of us are sitting in a rocking chair.
      Maybe we are more like yarrow or catmint, if well tended they (we) bloom multiple times from early spring to late summer.
