It's all about your comfort like you said. It's normal to be worried, but it all passes. You look wonderful darlin'. Keep your head up. Always.

    1. I can't wait to have my surgery. I'm think I might be happy or even proud with/of my scars but if they fade I wouldn't mind either.
    2. The hair: I would suggest getting it cut a little shorter on top? If it were me, I'd bring back the mohawk but if you aren't looking for that, I would suggest getting it done a bit shorter on top so it doesn't really curl and possibly shaved a little at the sides and back so it looks thicker. Just a suggestion :)

I LOVE MY SCARS! I'm dead serious. When in the change room at the gym I spend as much freakin' time shirtless walking around as possible. I am proud to be a trans guy and I will bear these scars with love and pride. Can't wait to parade around shirtless this summer too.

I'm a girl and I think you look awesome and I think your chest looks great and the scars are barely noticeable!

You should go for a David Beckham kind of cut or keep it as it is but shorter. :)

i also had surgery with doc. g. i'm 1 yr 6 mo post op. at one year and that whole 1st year post of my scars were red and raised, it, is also just the last 6 months that they are very well adjusted to my natural skin tone and not as raised at all.
it went from being not so acceptable, and i thought they were going to stay that way. to being VERY acceptable and surprisingly all in the last 6 months, at 1 yr 6 mo post op.

oh and btw heart surgery definitely not, heart is in the middle of your chest, and scars are vertical. it looks completely different.

that's awesome man I get scared when i think of having my upcoming top surgery but then i think if i have scars so what it's still better to be who you are then someone your not and who cares anyway people will be accepting not all but that's okay.

I had to have emergency surgery on my stomach, and I was soooo bummed because the scar is 8 in long and runs from between my breasts to my belly button. I had the surgery when I was 19 and now I am 39. When I look in the mirror the scars are barely visible at all. Sometimes even I forget they are there. I'd say that after about 3-5 years post op the scars will be almost invisible, so don't worry guys. Also, Trans guys are hot and should be proud of who they are and what they have been through.

I'm going to have my nipples tossed out when I get top surgery. They are a massive source of dysphoria on top of the dysphoria I feel about the lumps. I'm sure that could attract a few stares post-op but I don't expect to be going shirtless much in public anyway. If I decide I want to reduce the stares then I can get tattoos but at least there won't be mini-lumps.

Do you have a default answer for if anyone ever did question your scars? If it was someone you are not comfortable coming out to

This is what I worry about, Im not open about being trans so I think that when, if im ever able, I get top surgery that ill be more dysphoric than now. If I have to get double incision I know ill worry so much about scarring. Also you should try the james dean look.

I don't think there is anything wrong with someone knowing you are Trans. I think just like queer visibility the more society sees this as a normal part of people's lives the better it will be for everyone. Visibility, tolerance, understanding, acceptance, and compassion, for all!!! The world is a better place for having Trans people in it, because you force the rest of us to grow, and you just can't get better than that. Peace! :)

Apparently scarring from top-surgery is the same scarring you'd get if your lungs collapsed so you can say that XD It's also me and my friends' way of talking about it in public

the story is: you may be surprised how faded they will get with a little more time.
my suggestion: SUNSCREEN THEM, continue scar treatment and wait little more.
    i was surprised.

I feel the same, Skinnin! I am proud to be who I am, and I am very out as a trans person. I also can't wait to walk around shirtless. Although, I need to get in the gym before the summer! :)

I like your hair. It's a good length. I want to make a video on the same topic but I won't make it for a while so it won't be a response.

well to be honest, since you look like an ordinary guy, my first guess would be a very severe gynecomastia. and I'd definitely not ask you any further questions since it's simply not polite.
my second guess would be some sort of muscle injury
and then a whole list of different things.but definitely not mastectomy.
most people dont even know what trans is. so, Im pretty sure absolutely no one ever will ask u a single question about it.unless they know u but thats a whole different thing.

i think the top is a little too long. so it makes it look like you're balding cause of your hairline. try cutting the top down and see if you like it then...
