- For this project, I was asked to create a freeform textured geode, so following on from my previous video, I decided to include foil in the centre.

This is GORGEOUS! Museum worthy 💯 💕
Foil works so well under resin - I love using it to create depth then adding iridescent Mylar or glass glitter over top before the final pour/s.
Several years ago I used foil & metallic hair “dye” (I know it sounds crazy but I like challenge myself to just use what I have) to refinish a larger side table & topped with many layers of original gloss mod podge & it’s still going strong to this day. I haven’t even used coasters or anything over the years to protect the table & it looks like the day it cured. Pleasantly surprising huh?! Art is fantastic & yours is always SO beautiful & well done!

i just wanted to say that i have taken an interest in this medium as an artist, and you have shown me more "cool" tricks that shows me how to be more "freeform" with my techniques with acrylics and resins. Your geode is absolutely gorgeous. I like the texture that the foil gives and the colors are beautiful. I think that the camera is a great idea, it was nice to see what you were doing up close. As long as you use it the way you are, I think it will be fine. If you go to fast, that will most likely make people feel I'll. I can't wait to see all the other things you have coming up.
