- Twistzz is a survivor of North American CS:GO.
While org after org left the game, countless pros switched over to Valorant, and his own team fell from some incredible heights, Twistzz remained determined to make it work.
But once he realized he had no future in NA, Twistzz made a decision that changed everything.

Better than overpass 1v3 was that nuke game.. He was like a man possessed! And rain vs electronic on nuke was next level cs.. Main rain is really the backbone of faze. That 1v1 vs simple was God tier

Never been a fan of NA CS, but I am a huge Twistzz fan for a while now. I am so happy for him. Honestly, it was the only move he could have done, or he was going to kiss his cs career goodbye if he stayed!

Nah Karrigan has always IGL'ed like that. It's both his best attribute and biggest flaw. Flaw because it gets him booted from teams before they get a chance to click... but as you can see, with the right group this tactic is godlike. Karrigan is scary in a whole other way. He just understands peoples Strengths so well.
Easily the best player to ever come out of NA, no debate. Always loved watching Twistzz and wanted him to win a Major. So happy he did.

He’s the chosen one. When people doubted him for dropping out school, he proved that he can make it at top tier CS. When people doubted him to get a Major, he proved ppl wrong by moving outside his comfort zone. Fully deserved 💪🏼 Looking forward what this Faze team can do in the upcoming events, especially with the current rivalries with NaVi. 🔥🔥

Twistzz has been my favorite player ever since i started watching CSGO...man is a true team player and does not care to be the flashy fragger its just natural for him haha. Legit the NA goat is a support player with top 5 rifle abilities lol. IN THE MAGICIAN WE TRUST.

I was hoping there would be a video on him. He did what I really hoped elige would do, but elige is hard loyal to NA. Elige and twistzz are NA's best 2 players and if elige leaves liquid, I'll bet you he'll start winning crazy tournaments.

Crazy to me that Twistzz acheived 3x as many trophies with Liquid than he has with Faze so far. 12 big metals with Liquid vs Fazes 4. Think people always forget just how good Liquid was. 2018 to 2020 being a top 5 team the entire time not dropping below that and number 1 for 5 straight months winning 6 tournaments in a row to get the grand slam. Pretty much an era if they got that major after the break. So I wouldnt quite say he ditched NA to "Finally" win it all. He did that awhile ago haha he just needed the major as his only thing missing and got that now. Hope he continues to win even more and seal what most think already which is that he is the best NA player of all time!
You can argue that the skill scaling of cs back then is very slim if you compare it today's skill scaling
Teams have improved throughout the years and the pro scene became much more competitive
@@sph_qn4572 uuh idk 2018s Astralis i think would still be beating teams now. Normally thats true that its gotten a lot better in the few years but covid kinda stagnated that progress. That online era really made a lot of teams worse as players and are just getting back up into that skill level. The firepower of Liquid then where all players were popping off is pretty similar to Faze now and we see how thats going for them. Winning!

yeah it wasn't exactly a difficult one... join up with other past/present top 10 players and a top 5 IGL all time...? it's like people think this choice was some god tier chess play. It's obvious AF to make this choice lmao
@@jorgeenchilada the issue is faze had always been chokers and underachievers. Until recently they have never reached the sort of powerhouse levels nip, fnatic, astralis etc were. Ropz karrigan twistz combo has really helped and broky and rain are always there to form the backbone
@@MrRetrogoo Plus, even with 4/5 of the current FaZe roster, they bombed out of every tournament before they got ropz. Under Twistzz and karrigan, FaZe dropped out of Top 30 for the first time ever. Then ropz joined and all that changed.
Though, I wouldn't say they've reached the heights of NiP, Fnatic, SK/LG, and Astralis quite yet. They need another major at least. Maybe they're above NiP, but that's it.

That super team was struggling for a year. No team is super team, team work makes them super.. Look at navi and astralis. They won only after they played together. Simple is still the best player and was, but never won a major bcz team didn't play together
@@whoami8247 Did you read the comment half way? After ropz, FaZe has been at an incredible high. They only dipped shortly after the major and that's it. They have dominated this year, and the only NaVi can come close to beating FaZe so far

As a Belgian resident and Antwerp being my city, I am so proud my city/country have been chosen for that major, and so happy how it turned out.
Forever remembered as Faze's first major, and it was my first major attendance as well...
That Faze Spirit game was absolutely fucking nasty and I will never forget the incredible experience I had there.
I'm not even like a twistzz "fan" (I have nothing against the guy, I just don't watch for him in particular), but he should 100% be in top 10 or maybe even top 5 this year with these performances
