good stuff man, the ol LCR pays off with big dogs, and right on low tide. That fish inhaled that damn lure. what about sitting in a boat all day, hehehe.... Id like to walk around but my knees dont like it much . Great video.
The bigger models seem to nail those lures so deep.. might need to reconsider them if I don't want to be doing deep extraction all the time. I feel like the boat is a bit more comfortable... imagine sitting on the floor of the boat all day!!
Loving the Kayak Videos! Has made me want to start using my K2F 11.5 Kayak which I have only used once. Do you recommend anywhere to practice using a kayak in middle harbor NSW? I usually dock off at Davidson Boat Ramp.
There is ok, but I would recommend Tunks Park as an easy launch with structure nearby and you can tuck in around some shallow wrecks away from boat traffic.
It is the Garmin striker 4 plus. Technology has moved on a bit so the clear view or striker 4 cv is the current model and has some extra features. It's a great starting point because it will do mapping and doesn't use too much power
Might have been the same fish! Man I am really trying hard for a new Pb at the moment but I feel like to a point it is luck. Like you can target big ones but how big is the luck part
Start using bigger lures mate. Go and watch some of Nevs videos fishing the flats, perfect demonstration. Arguably reduces your hookup numbers but will help you achieve the goal!
I have started! I'm going big zman 7" paddles with worm hook and assist trebble off the bottom.. haven't hit gold yet but only two sessions in. I am tempted to try that massive bent minnow nev used next
I went there a little while ago and got a few fish flathead and whiting. I think the key is to time your tides so you don't get way too wet. Like a 1.6m high will have you standing in water at your belly button which can be a bit scary with all the rays you encounter (big and small)
Some nice fish. Good session. The first one was a beaut. Some good surgeon skills too 🤙🎣
Thanks ! I've got to be getting close to qualifying as a keyhole surgeon

hey mate, do you still do much land based fishing off at blackman park? thinking about hitting it up this week to see if any flatties are biting

I also almost guarantee they will be!!
