Swifty was a master dueler in his day! And I, as a warrior, LOVED IT!
He got found out for fixing duels dude lol the best thing Swifty ever done was either get carried by rank 1's or macro every single on use into one button or get away with automated razer macros without getting banned.

Ahh... The times when Swifty was good and entertaining to watch. Now he's become waay to commercial and isn't as cool as he used to be. Nevertheless, props for having these videos still up, Swifty, nice work you used to do back in the day! :)

This is probably the best Swifty edited fight duel video ever.
I don't want to dig through 5000 comments to see if someone else posted this BUT
If a hunter uses deterrence then switches to aspect of the cheetah, just heroic throw. Heroic throw is uneffected by deterrence and he will be effected by the daze mechanic associated with aspect of the cheetah allowing you to keep up.
Prot/ret Paladin. 1st round fought in tanking specs with shields and one handers the Ultimate contest. 2nd round, Duel on Horseback at the Argent Tournament. and the 3rd and Final round, a no rules engagement, any spec any weapon any place, be it Gurubashi or anyother in mind, and maybe a bonus round, Deeprun Tram, the conflict starts when the tram begins moving, win by death or when the train stops at the next station the player who is on the lowest health loses :) great videos man!

the advantage of dual wielding as opposed to using a 2her as a hunter is so u no longer have to spec into Deflection to get the 50% disarm duration and can put a titanium wep chain on ur offhand and dump those points into imp tracking for the full 5% damage buff on tracked targets, its actually a pretty significant damage boost

Ok swifty, all of ur videos r awesome. I really love the sound effects on that hunters gun! and ur so good man! you've also taught me a lot of things like I didnt realize spriests were so weak without their vampiric touch from ur spriest duels! And ur nonclicker videos and pve-pvp vid also helped even if just a little I play a rogue on another realm and I think I'm pretty good, not good enough to get past 1500 though -:/... I have been playing since 2 months before wotlk and uv been playing sin
here's how you do it: 1. Improved hamstring + glyph of hamstring = 25% chance to root hunter when using hamstring 2. Glyph of Overpower, proc's overpower from parry's also, and since overpower can't be parried, deterrence cant stop you from doing damage. and also use thunder clap for snakes instead of wasting Intimidating Shout (2m cd) on them. and also if you want to fight dirty, glyph of rending and abuse the LoS and kill his pet while doing it, if he let's you that is.

i play a warrior and a hunter and i must say this has helped me in both ways to improve my warrior in duels vs hunters as it did for my hunter vs warriors
Very cool idea to have a duel in the deeprun tram. Besides being prot in the third duel, I think another reason why you won it more easily is because the location was circular so the hunter couldn't kite too far.

i watch this video time and time again and i find it SO SO SO funny that this hunter is said "best on server" and he cant even kite around his frost traps.
Swifty your a god, watching your videos has made me such a better pvp'er. i use to get ownd all the time at duels now I win 90% of them, and now thinking about aiming for 1800+

I don't know if you know this, but if you have a rend, while the hunter is using deterence, you can still use overpower from taste for blood procs. And you can also use heroic throw. Nice video btw

You got a pretty neat idea there to duel a hunter in a narrow tunnel.

Epic fight mate, btw what sound addons did you use? are they added to the video or a wow addon?
@odysseusbg there is no duel range limit, the hunter can go one direction the entire time and it does't matter that he can't go in a cirlce.

@lsdimages ermm i think what swifty did was record the sound from quake live - the sound is the rocket launcher - when you shoot it, it makes that sound so i think he recorded the sound from when he shot the rocket launcher and put it in the vid i suppose.
No i started playing When BC came out. No one knows when they are getting trolled, but props to you sir for being a respectful individual, and for not feeding me.
awesome videos man. i would like to see a prot warr and prot pally duel. see which one comes out alive in the end. it would be an interesting fight.
and also Overpower works through Detterance, it's basicly free overpowers if you're ARMS.

Well as a hunter, you used to get like 4 melee moves and a crap load of shots that require distance, you do the math

I would suggest maybe facing an affliction lock or a demon. Would like to see how you get in and out of stuns, fears, etc...
If you could do a Feral drud vs Arms War video it'd be awsome. I rarely see good ferals losing even to an arms warrior, so i guess it would be an awsome duel vs you 2. I'm not sure if there are good ferals on Darkspear, but do try finding one :). Cheers and love your work ... keep it up !
feral druid or AFF lock. both seem to have great survivability. maybe the druid would have more against warr's specifically just because of the constant slows and stuns the warr can pressure the lock w/. but both would be fun to watch!
yo john what addon do u use to get thoes cool impressive sounds and gun shots and the popup that says swifty has fragged target. i think this is the reaosn why my skill level is so low, so please tell me asap!

please do a up to date duels and an up to date warrior training

1st contest:Best Crit % as a level 70
2nd contest: Best crit % as a level 80.
Prot is not useless in cata. alot of ppl just put off it cos of the reflect nerf, and the shield bash removal. u can still gag order, u just cant snare.
Personally playing vs hunters i wait until i am at about 0.2% HP and then blow ALL defensive CDs at once, last stand, shield wall battlemasters trinket and enraged regen. i think now u can also add commanding shout to it, meaning if u have battle shout mapped somewhere u can switch back after uve used commanding to increase the amount healed.
personaly i think that u should make a video of you playing hunter , and show starts against all spec and classes , cause MM hunter is not easy to play in HL pvp .

@drummerB44 same, the hunter was really good. made me miss my hunter a lot.
To the hunter's credit there were a lot of LOS issues caused by those stairs.
That hunter is awesome i learned a few tricks from him. Btw, nice move on fearing the snakes Swifty! ;)

Frost dk, affliction lock. Did you try Mage duels as prot? Better stuns, charge breaking movement impairs, gag order, and maybe a little better survival.
i like how he said dont blow all ur cds at once, yet, in the first duel he popped enraged regen, shield block, and shield wall all at the same time lol
Swifty, will you go Worgen on your warrior for the sprint? It would make Hunters so easy to kill.
Fight warlocks.. all types of warlocks. Not just destro or affliction but also really good demonology warlocks. The class has quite a few tricks and I'm curious to see how they deal with slows, snares, and stuns the warrior can do.

yeah klinda is crazy especially with shadowmourne man i wish i had that much skill to "know" how to utilize that weapon
@lazymo0se There's a stat loss, but you get the ability to deterrence though Shadow priest/warrior/hunter disarms

Show me how to beat Hunters (especially MM/Surv) and how to work around Frost Mages and Shadowpriests.

He obviously is a really good hunter so this is just constructive criticism if you will, but I can't believe how little he utilized traps.
If your server has any good fire mages duel one, but that's only if they are amazing not just good

When a hunter uses deterrence Heroic Throw penetrates it and it still hits them. So when they turn on Pack of the Cheetah just use heroic throw and that will daze them
In this clip they use mana yes, but I replied to Kyndralae saying hunters dont use energy, they use focus in cata. *facepalm*

@fireAbullet Yes it is still true. Horde > Alliance for pvp, depending on the server/battlegroup of course.
