Well I got my order last week could not be more happy. They are sweet and very nice. Catch the feeder as done everything they said they would do. I have had absolutely no problem with this company. A lot of guys have these rods and I have seen a lot of complaints about them breaking up from the fourth eye and up. Catfish Dave broke one of his on video just boat lifting about a 5 lb blue cat and it snapped. And they wouldn’t even reply back to him. That’s not a good guarantee on these rods. So like a bunch of other people like myself we switched to MadKats rods. There warranty policy is if it breaks for any reason in the first year they replace it no question asked period. After that you pay half price for replacement no matter how it gets broken. Car door tailgate or even stepped on it gets replaced.
You gotta be some what payed by mad Katz, I personally have had an 86 pound blue on a hellcat that handled it like a dream. A hellcat reeled in 600 pound alligator for the love of the good lord. LOL. But reality of it tho, all the rods on the market are made in China. There probably all the same rod with different logos on them made in the same sweat shop.
Got my mh today. I expected it to be about like my mh I had. It's like a in-between action of medium and medium heavy. It's skinnier farther down from the tip before hitting the back bone. Never gets as thick at the last eye as the original. Mh is overkill so this rod will make all the 10 pound and below alot more fun and still able to catch the big ones! Probably their most versatile rod yet imo. And it's green! No more "is that an ugly stik" from people haha

Not as bright as they say..... I recently purchased 6 of the green Hellcat rods from Catch the Fever Company for my boy friend. 4 were bait cast and 2 were spin cast. The 4 Bait cast are as advertised, they are super bright especially under UV light (SUPER Bright). On the other hand the two Spin Cast rods are VERY Noticeably dimmer. My boy friend does not post onlne and I normally do not post negative comments, however, I sent the company three emails with images under UV light with All 6 rods in the shot together clearly showing a huge difference in the brightness of these rods. Like I explained to them in my emails there is a large difference in regular day light. I never heard back from anyone from Catch the Fever. It almost looks like there is only one layer of green paint (or very thin layer ) compared to the other 4 rods. Major difference under UV light. When you pay a premium price for these rods the buyer expects to get what they pay for. As far as durability, the rods are rock solid. We use them boat fishing on the Arkansas River for catfish. The largest we have caught on the Spinning Rod was a 62 lb blue so they hold up well. We love the rods.
Rods look awesome. I don’t have blues in my area. We do have some big flatheads but I have yet to catch anything over 40 pounds. How are the medium actions? I want to see a huge bend in my rod but want it to have the backbone just incase I get a big one.

Looks like I’m going to have to get another Rod from somewhere else. Originally USPS said Tuesday 8/29 by 8:00pm, then changed to Wednesday 8/30, now no date unless I call and it says Saturday 9/2. Not sure if I’m going to get it in time to use on my next trip. I’m not even in the area of the hurricane. ☹️ USPS is a joke. Well hope I get it in time for next time.
I love it BUT! I HATE that they are not made for open face reels with a bigger ring on the bottom. I hate using bait casters. But I love the rod for sure.

IDK…I also saw CF Dave break that rod. He grabbed the rod about a third of the way down while lifting the cat into the boat. Snap!!’
