Hi Sandy, its not looking very hopeful at the moment by I am hoping to get back to Thailand in November! fingers crossed that we can get back again this year, thanks mrix
Fair play to you flying half way across the world on your first ever abroad trip lol! My first time flying was to Spain when I was a baby with my parents and grew up going to Spain, I’m now nearly 28 years old, I’ve been to america 3 times and been to Thailand 7 times since April 2017.. the best place I have ever been to is Thailand! probably an unpopular opinion but I would definitely recommend songkran, absolute chaos! British airways though is definitely not my choice, flew with them once but never again, Eva air for sure and also Thai airways always great! Brilliant video and I hope you enjoyed you’re first time on a plane👍
Hi William, I have been back to Thailand 2 more times since this video and I am a fan, unfortunately the last trip we had to wear a mask due to the pandemic which was very uncomfortable in the temperatures, come November we will be flying out once again for 6 weeks! weather in the UK is very good at the moment but come November it will be very cold again so I will very much look forward to my yearly dose of Thailand... thanks mrix
I find BA updated long haul economy class good service. On a flight to Dubai, also got two gins before the meal without hesitation, wine with the meal and after drink. The crew smashed it and I was impressed. Hope they keep this service level up
Hi Peter, the service BA offered was by far the best from my experience to date and the food was great, as you say there was no shortage of alcohol which was a bonus, however the ticket prices were much higher.... mrix
Yes it was initially a scary experience and in the first few days I wondered what the hell I had done, quite a shock after most life never leaving the country ha ha, hope to back out there in Nov this year, thanks mrix
@@_myronspov I was very nervous, pretty much all the way through the flight, the experience of the air pockets where the plane seems to drop and general turbulence keeps you on your toes ha ha, also looking out the window to see the wings flexing so easily, you just think I know its meant to be safe but sods law knowing my luck etc, mrix
Hi Andy, these videos were mixed within my other channel so I decided to create a New channel specifically for travel, these videos were simply uploaded to this New channel in 2020 but were filmed in 2019, hopefully I will be filming new travel videos this November, well if the Covid issue allows, fingers crossed, mrix
@@mrixstraveladventurevlog6545 Nice all the same and hope you had a great time, I was in Bangkok Nov-Dec 2019 just before all the 💩 kicked off. Much prefer doing 2 flights via Dubai with an hour break in between. Had a few beers in Nana Plaza but too manic around that area, Asoke and Phrom Phong are the areas I like.
@@AR-bm4ov Actually when we reached Bangkok from this flight video in 2019 our hotel was directly opposite Nana Plaza, we basically walked across the road and had a drink at the hooters which was directly opposite, never been in there for a drink as I normally have the wife with me unfortunately ha ha, anyway I live in hope to at least get to one of the Asian countries this November, just a question what was it you liked specifically about Asoke and Phrom Phong ? thanks mrix
We go emirates business class worth every penny ,, been 24 times with the thai misses ,, never use any other airlines ESPECIALLY B A ,, dreadfull experience ,, hope it hasn’t put you off forever

Well I am not a drinker and had not drank anything for many months prior to the flight so yes I was Merry lol
Hi mate, not convinced this was Dec 2020, not a face mask in sight in the airport’s or on the flight.
