Howard Hughes' wife Jean Peter's. Beautiful woman. I also liked her in Niagra with marilyn monroe. She became very good friends with her, especially during Marilyn's troubles. People forget there were 2 beautiful women in that movie 😍
i think jp was better in less glamorous roles, something she also admitted; she was fantastic as a woman pirate captain in 'anne of the indies', as well as in 'lure of the wilderness' & 'apache' & not forgetting of course, her close to oscar nomination role in 'pickup on south street'; jean could never be accused of being type cast, as these diverse films show & it was a shame she retired so early, aged 31, to marry howard hughes, because i think she would have made a great villainess in a 'bond' movie; don't forget, she was younger than honor 'pussy galore' blackman. jp is a late comer to my favourite actresses, ie, marilyn, brigitte, grace, audrey, doris + dorothy (malone).
Even with her beauty 😍, I couldn't help notice the bass player hitting all those notes between beats. Was he really playing that, or was he thinking about her?😂
Hey, that's terrific. Love this song. I wonder who the combo is? They don't look like extras, and I doubt it's Art Van Damme or Ernie Felice - no vibes or clarinet in their groups of the time.
i believe it was her voice you heard singing; jean did not like stunt women playing her action roles, so i doubt if she would have wanted somebody having their voice dubbed over hers. she would have done a great job in 'oklahoma' singing, 'i'm just a girl who can't say no,' but she did not like to be thought of as 'sexy', so i think she probably would have said 'no' to the part, even if she was offered it; however, i do believe she may well have jumped at the chance to play, 'calamity jane' in place of doris day, given the chance; jean had a good country, western voice, having worked on a farm when she was younger. jean was a great sports fan & in many of her films, you can tell she was very athletic; it's a shame she retired so early, aged 31, as i thought she would have made a great villianess in a 'james bond' movie, bearing in mind that honor blackman, who played 'pussy galore' was over a year older than her.
jean learnt a lot from marilyn; it's a shame she wasn't in a hitchcock movie; something like 'north by north west, 'psycho' or 'marnie'; any of these films would have been ideal for her. she deserved an oscar for her role in 'pick up on south street,' even if it was an anti communist film.
Wow!She was so beautiful and talented !
She was a talented actress with good singing ability and also very attractive.

I like this song and think it’s positive to listen to😀
Glamour looked different back then vs today
Great, Luis !!!!!!
I still love her Jack

Apparently she did not come to realize the talent he possessed.

Is is her real voice ?
Le film est un remake de Hot Spot avec Betty Grabble mais c’est un film noir recommandable
i am sure that jean would have insisted it was her singing & not being dubbed.

@@normansmithers7631 For someone who didn't want to be thought of as sexy she sure had a lot of sexy pictures taken

The woman as seduced me flipping El 😐👄❤👍
Damn. She is gorgeous...and looks like my former secretary. Heck...where did I put her phone number?
SHE SINGS BETTER THEN SOME OF THOSE PROFESSIONAL DUBBERS...BUT SHE WANTED DRAMA AND COMEDY ROLES...NOT MUSICALS...
is that really her voice. can we be sure it wasn't dubbed?
I wasn't looking at her voice!
Dazzlingly, beautiful woman, but her singing voice is not especially inspiring.
nor was marilyn's.
marnie dubbed for her?
it didn't sound like marnie nixon to me; i think jean would have demanded to sing.
Glenn Miller version was ALOT better !
