Found you recently and been listening every morning to catch up on old episodes. Love the conversation and seems you all really enjoy it, looking forward to more
My favorite travel, miles & points youtube channel. Awesome episode and wonderful segments from everyone. Serena, love your okinawa trip and tips. Glad i was able to contribute and also nice to hear my name on the show. Thank you.
Last 2 episodes have been super helpful! My husband & I leave in 10 days for our first trip to Japan! Park Hayatt Tokyo & Kyoto and a few nights at Grand Hyatt Tokyo. First big trip as a Globalist too! And..it looks like we nailed the timing for Sakura! So excited! Thanks for all the info!
It was complimentary. My waiter brought it to us after finding out we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. It came with coconut syrup. Sooo good 🤩 I only have Hilton Gold, but the free breakfast is continental only.
I am in the HR Seragaki right now and can't wait for the French toast tomorrow! Thank you for that tip, Serena! I would like to check out the GH HK for breakfast!
Totally agree on going back to a nice destination, we don't have to rush things and try to hit everything. What this hobby gives us is the ability to just be laid back and savor the moment, knowing in the back of our mind that we can go back and see things we missed later.
I just finished the episode, yes excited for Oman. Those back episodes were great, ep 12 was where I got the idea for the Lufthansa FC flight. And another episode, Mitch mentioned about calling Qatar when they changed his flight, just happened to me too, so gotta call them to have the flight changed to one that's suitable for us.
Love hearing all the trips! I’m adding Grand Hyatt Hong Kong to the list now! I actually think the club lounge award at HR Tokyo Bay is so worth it since it covers breakfast in the restaurant vs a lounge. Has made to order omelette! With extra unique toppings. For Ferrari world, I had no idea it was that packed. We went right on New Year’s Day 1/1, it was walk ons for almost all roller coasters. I was shocked. Maybe everyone was too hung over and didn’t come 😂
Catching up on y’all’s episodes. Have been away on vacation for the last week or so in Vietnam. (Vietnam is phenomenal btw; highly recommend). I currently reside in Okinawa so I’m taking full advantage of easier travel out here. I will be visiting Kyoto for Thanksgiving later on this year (will be staying at the newly opened DoubleTree) and will be going back to Tokyo Disney since they will be opening a new portion of Disney Sea later on this summer. I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Seragaki Island, and the Ritz here on Okinawa but nothing beats the Hilton resort at Sesoko Island in my book. Great episode!
Welcome back from your trip! Vietnam is high on our list! That’s very cool you get to live in Okinawa now. Sounds like we need to add Hilton Sesoko Island to our list. Please let us know what you like about this property!
@@LetsGetToThePoints Hilton Sesoko although not a fine hotels and resort property like the Ritz or Seragaki, it is just different. It’s located off the coast of Okinawa (you have to take a bridge to get to the island). It’s secluded, the water is amazing, and there is a public and private portion of the beach that the Hilton is attached to that gives you options on how to spend your day at the beach. Although quite pricey, we always find good points or cash deals throughout the year. There is also a HGV building as a part of the resort so during the summer months it is crowded with tourists from all over the world. We are booked there for July 4th weekend and for when my sister visits us in August. I should say that it isn’t a top-graded Hilton resort like a Conrad or a Waldorf, but the staff does very well in service and as Diamond members there has never been a time where we are not upgraded. Lastly, every room in that building faces the ocean so there isn’t any bad view. On a side note, we will be heading to Miyakojima Hilton Resort for Memorial Day weekend (new resort opened last year). We are excited for that.
We're unable to include links in the comments but check out the show notes for this video. The link to sign up is there. You'll need to see if you have an employer email that works. Good luck and have a great time!
Can’t remember if this was the episode, but what was the service that Miguel used to book the Kirby cafe? Fiverr? If so who can you recommend (worried about scams)? Really hoping to score a reservation to Monk in Kyoto 😂
Check out Chew To Explore's YT page. Chew has a great USJ video. Another one is TDR Explorer. He has tons of Japan theme park content but is not a points and miles creator.
Japan is the place to be! Has anyone been to USJ? looking to go when I head there in May. Debating if I should get an express pass. plan on going on a weekday. Huge Nintendo Fan and nervous since the Donkey Kong attraction opens in April. I rly appreciate the advice on the Hyatt advance booking tip from the last episode. oh yea, ive been to a couple of GHs in the last year; best lounge for a GH ive been to is the GH is South Korea, though, the best view I have been a part is the Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris, great view of the Eiffel Tower on a high floor club lounge,

This is on my bucket list!
Our favorite Disney park in the world so far!

The French toast at the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal has been my favorite so far.
Ooooh interesting! 😋Are hot items included with the Diamond breakfast? Or did you have to pay extra for the French toast?

Thank you!
You're welcome!

The Westin in Yokohama Japan club lounge is really nice!!
Awesome tip! We don’t often hear about Marriott property lounges. Thank you!

I was laughing at Mitch’s reaction about the flight suggestion. I can tell it’s not going to happen. 😂
😂😂😂 Mitch needs to be a team player! We’ll keep pressuring him. 😉
I'm going to Korea/Japan in April/May. How do you do the Hyatt challenge?

Ha! Love the thumb nail.
You must have a soft spot for Miguel and Disney! ;)
@@LetsGetToThePoints Big fan of both!
See you in Chicago!
You got to visit Al Safwa Lounge (Doha).
Hi and thank you! Al Safwa is a favorite of ours!
@miguel, tell us more about that Pokemon Cafe.
Paging Miguel, tell us! We are with Duchess, we wanna know more!

Yes, it was Fiverr. Did you see Mitch’s advice for booking Monk? He covered that in a previous episode.
@@LetsGetToThePoints oof must have missed it. Would you happen to know what episode?
Episode 5 at about 22 mins in….please let us know if you go!!!
Any tips for visiti3 Universal Japan?

Thank you for your lounge tips! That HR in Paris is a favorite among Hyatt enthusiasts for the views but does it win with the food? Let us know!
@@LetsGetToThePoints lol, no. food is fine, but its hard to complain, since it was my first ever hotel lounge visit, albeit as an Explorist for free!
We can’t ever complain about free food!
