Wisconsin is one of the best wrestling states at the moment, and I'm from Illinois, so I don't want to admit it, haha. Seriously, though, I have all the respect in the world for Wisconsin.
For the love of wrestling please please please let's fix the mics I'm a huge fan and love listening to shows while at work. Content has been great lately audio is just always a little low 🙏
You guys are crazy. California has over 7 times the population of Wisconsin and has one state champion. Wisconsin has three state champions for 1/7 of the population. Its apples to oranges.
Taylor has moved on with coaching but he can't state that the version that lost to Brooks was not top tier. It would look like sour grapes. Brooks is good but I think he will struggle at the Olympics let alone against Yazdani. We creating too high of expectations for Brooks.
@@dangerpowers4582 Really ? Who do you think better than BONO ? Double edge sword imo ,every team wants the best coach,to draw the best wrestlers! But I think alot of thats pre- determined, none of the kids going to college from AWA are going to Penn State,Missouri, etc! If all those kids stayed at Wisconsin they would have a great team! Even if the coach was Bono! They want to go somewhere with best partners, individual trophys, team, trophy! Sure there are exceptions!
@normanhuntley5747 Barry Davis was a better coach. He wasn't the greatest, but he definitely produced some great wrestlers. The one thing that erks me is the fact that super talented guys like Dean Hamiti and Braxton Amos would most likely be national champions if they went to a better program. Dean was the number 6th ranked pfp guy in the class of 21, and Braxton Amos was 1st in the same class. Braxton Amos won three Ironman titles, a couple of Super 32, three Powerade, and was an Olympic alternate. He even had a street named after him in West Virginia, and he hasn't even AA'd yet. Now, I believe it's unfair to blame it all on Bono, but he no doubt hasn't done a great job getting these guys to the next level. I will say, I respect Chris's toughness. Only the most mentally and physically strong men and women can complete ultramarathons, and he definitely appears to love his athletes, I just don't think he's a great coach. I hope he gets better, though.
Ben is the best wrestling talk available....

Audios loud for me- listening on an IPhone
Taylor looked way less ripped this time vs Brooks.
He used to have massive lats. He didn't have as defined of a V shaped physique.
I feel like DT knew Brooks was going to be a problem...

Top wrestling state, or top wrestling club?
The club is all over the state now!
Wisconsin gotta keep them dogs at home!
If they got a better head coach, then that would help keep them at home.
