LEGO Racers [1999] GBC vs N64 vs PS1 vs PC (Version Comparison)
All video footage played, recorded and edited by Games Version Comparison
Lego Racers is a Lego - racing video game developed by High Voltage Software and published by Lego Media.
Set in the fictional "Legoland" universe, the single-player mode follows various minifigure characters competing in a racing competition created by a fictional racing champion called Rocket Racer. Players control a minifigure, allowing them to drive a variety of cars built out of Lego and race them against other minifigure characters. Items can be used by the player to hinder other racers' progress, and the player can create their own cars and characters with unlocked Lego bricks and use them to race. A local multiplayer mode also allows multiple players to race against each other. - Ігри
al diferenciar Nintedo 64 es SD como 640x480 pero PS1 tiene 640x448 SD y PC es de 1280x720 HD
Thanks I was wo during what the differences were as I'm thinking of buying this
Are you using emulation for the N64 because that sounds super sharp for a N64 game and kinda unfair to put it that way compared to the Playstation 1 no ?
Seems to be Project64.
(Because the resolution chabges between menu and race)
How come they have different in-track music in each version?
Used to play this game on pc when i was a kid, yea thats weird maybe cuz the music is random ? Idk
where can i download this game for pc i couldn't find it some of website broken that i find
pirate it
si embargo el de GBC tiene muy pocas cosas
PC wins! ;)
Even in 1999
Actually you’re right because it looks more stylized because the CD ROM can hold more data so it actually kinda looks as smooth as Lego heads so I’ll give PC the win
Pretty close between the N64 and PC for me to be honest.
@@calebirvin1439 PC is the clear winner the heads are actually round. N64 is sharp but lacks the same level of detail.
As an aside idk if it's the methodology used or a crappy port, but the PS1 looks like it was recorded with a potatoe. I know that N64 had a higher polygon count, and antialiasing, PS1 had better textures... but mashed potatoe shouldn't be the result.
@@jonathanbetenbender307 N64 is about a year and a half younger than PSX, in that time, that did a lot. Main issue with the PSX is that it's not capable of using floating point numbers, a lot of this would get obscured by CRTs at the time. Also stretching it above the resolution the game ran at, which was something like 240p, the textures snapping from one pixel to another becomes quite noticable.
el de PS1 me gusta por que la calidad es de 640x448
