The person that created the mafia that we know was Charlie lucky Luciano. Capone murdered somebody or had something to do with a murder that was so heinous that they kicked him out of the city and sent him to Chicago. He did not create the mafia.

So many people were making their own alcohol one way or another. In my hometown, Fall River, MA, almost every backyard had a vineyard used to make "grape juice" which could be turned into wine and brandy. Also, some peach trees for brandy and of course alot of ceramic crocks used for beer. Karla holmolka is so vile that I even side with Jack the Ripper more. Most likely bc jack was meant to be feared and hated so he gets a pass, but coming from a woman who was once a loving sister turned into a serial killer all bc of a man she falls for is unforgivable. Jack given that he's in his 30-40 in 1890s so he's dead right now so he poses no threat while Karla gets to enjoy a free life of shrimp cocktail, a dirty martini and a family who is innocent
