In truth, there is very little difference between the Mafia from the 20s to the 90s and the Roman empire following the period of the 5 great emperors. The only real thing that differentiates the mafia from Rome at that time is that the Mafia works inside of a larger nation known as the USA, whereas the emperors were assassinated by their fellow governing body members
