Update: A suspect has been arrested and charged in the Delphi murders, with a jury trial scheduled for March 20, 2023. Thanks to those who commented about this movement in the case, it's much appreciated!
No you were right technically it hasn't been solved yet because anyone is innocent until proven guilty technically even though we all know he's probably guilty!
I'm from Indiana and have been following this case. They have Richard Allen in custody. They say he has confessed to the murders but his defense is trying to get the confessions thrown out due to mental illness and poor conditions in the prison he's in. It's all b.s. It's pretty obvious it's just a smoke screen because they know he's going to get the death penalty.
The arrested suspect doesn't even remotely resemble either police sketch. The doesn't make him innocent but if he is guilty it should cast doubt on the reliability of police sketches.
The girls that got killed by the guy they filmed on the bridge, that guy has been found and arrested very recently for the murders. So hopefully after a trial those girls will have their justice.

The Susan Powell case is so heartbreaking and frustrating. Her husband killed her and even under investigation he still got the right to have visits with his kids?! Seriously?!

@@oliviamann556 you guys should listen to the part again about the Susan Powell case again before commenting, he kill his wife then he killed himself and his kids his father is even involved in her death, really look up the on going investigation. This case really hits a nerve with me
I was in an abusive relationship just after college. I almost married her until she became someone I didn’t fall in love with, and I called off the wedding and moved on.
More info for the Susan Powell story - the government agent that was responsible for the supervised visits with the father took the boys to see him. He yanked the boys inside and slammed the door in her face, refusing to allow her in. The lady called 911 and said the boys were in danger. The 911 operator ignored her pleas for help and berated her. The house then blew up, killing the boys and father.
The 911 call is the definition of the words "infuriating," and "callous," with the way the dispatcher treated the caseworker who called. He was mad someone had the audacity to call him. It's is publicly available as well. Just a bit more information: Josh took the boys from the caseworker and locked her out of the house. Josh told the boys he had a special surprise waiting for them to get them inside. The caseworker tried to get in since Josh had lost custody but was unable to and called 911. Josh attacked his sons with an ax before lighting the house on fire with either natural gas or gasoline.
@@dietotaku I've listened to the 911 call, and it really sounds like he wasn't paying enough attention to what she was telling him. He thought she was the one doing the visitation with the children, not supervising someone else's visitation, which led to some confusion and time wasted. He also didn't seem to think she was serious about smelling gas... I don't know if he was doing it on purpose, though.

Speculation remains to this day that Cheri Jo Bates may have been an early Zodiac victim. A gruesome poem carved into a desk at the Riverside City College was discovered six months after she was murdered, and a handwriting expert declared it a match for the writings in Zodiac's letters. The police still dispute it, though.
Yep, Riverside PD claims they have evidence that tells them it wasnt Zodiac, but they've never disclosed what that evidence is. Although the RPD remained unconvinced of his conclusions, a handwriting expert named Sherwood Morrill stated on November 16 1970 that the handwriting scratched on the desk at RCC and the letters sent to The Press-Enterprise and Bates' father in 1967 were "unquestionably" written by the same individual who had later written the Zodiac letters. In a letter dated March 13, 1971, the Zodiac Killer claimed to the Los Angeles Times that he was responsible for the murder of Bates, stating: "I do have to give [the police] credit for stumbling across my Riverside activity, but they are only finding the easy ones. There are a hell of a lot more down there." The unofficial consensus among crime experts who have studied this case is that the RPD were just inept at the time. I went to RCC (50 years later, I hadnt been born yet so I have an alibi) and was always fascinated by this story. Strange to stand on the spot where she was found. The two wooden building that flanked the parking spot where her VW and body were found are gone, but the parking spot is still there. It's a 'Maintenance only' parking spot adjacent to the Library.

@@dietotaku On one hand I agree. On the other hand “Mark wants to kill me” definitely creates a bias and the reality is that wanting to kill someone doesn’t mean you did kill someone. It is possible that he wanted to kill her, she knew that so wrote it and then someone else like a scorned lover (his or hers), for example, killed her in a case of coincidence. I’m not saying that is what happened but if it was the bias created by the victims words could be letting the actual killer go free. Didn’t police recently catch the man who harmed the two young girls who took the pic of him on the bridge? Pretty sure they finally find the guy who was a married man from the same neighborhood as the girls 😬
Yes. He’d been living in the neighborhood less than 2 miles from where they were murdered, he was co manager of the CVS which was the only pharmacy in the town. The grandmother of one of the girls said that he’d been the one who’d developed pictures for her funeral and refused payment. That’s creepy as hell and there’s still a lot of suspicion that he’s just one of possibly many involved. There’s a sick online pedophile ring that more than likely has some part of this.
The reason some killers leave clues on purpose is that some sociopaths/psychopaths feels the need to gloat and show off what they done to someone. To let others know they are out there and they can and will kill again.
That's why some police do what's called a "honey pot" they back off from investigating for a while to make the killer feel more safer and less paranoid so that they will drop more clues and get clumsy when their ego gets too big then they go for the person.
Speaking of that. I know there was a case a woman was taken hostage for a while by a serial killer and she was blindfolded, but was able to slightly see from part of that blindfold and got info on certain things during that time and the type of car he was driving. Soon after the fella dropped her off as she feigned being cooperative, she relayed that info to the authorities soon after.
I remember a case of a kidnapped woman that was tortured by a man and his wife and assaulted. She eventually got a free moment and I believe she either grabbed a phone or something else and was able to use it to get help, escape, run bare naked to a neighbor and hide there while she waited for authorities, getting both people arrested.
Victims or survivors in situations like this need to prepare in case death awaits them. The suspects should be brought to justice no matter what. It’s just fascinating how people learn to adapt and survive for their own good.

There was a lady named Tierney Ewing, her estranged husband kidnapped and murdered her in 2014; Kevin Ewing was under house arrest and somehow got his ankle bracelet off. For years, Tierney's family tried to get her away from Kevin; they were junior high and senior high school sweethearts. After they were found dead in a town near the Ohio/PA border (he shot her then shot himself), it was revealed that she'd told family and friends over the years that if anything happened to her, it was because of her husband. There was a massive man hunt for the couple. The justice system majorly failed Tierney and her kids, and she paid with her life.

These murder cases are all sick. Not amusing. I don't understand in a way why people murder other people. There is a way of thinking that is beyond me. To be able to take a human life is unthinkable. Far beyond what I can understand.
My mom did a paper on serial killers and people who kill. She said most of these are a combination of mental illness, head trauma (or trauma in general) and lack of empathy...some killers understand that they are hurting someone as in they understand being stabbed can hurt you by causing physical pain but don't understand exactly HOW they are hurting someone.
@@carolynlyfordsullivan1377 yeah it's pretty hard to wrap your mind around it. As Dr. Phil once said "the sign of a healthy mind is when you find it impossible to wrap your head around things like murder" (I forget the actual quote but it does go something like that)
Josh Powell murdered his wife, then his kids and kicked himself because he was too much of a coward to handle he had ended his marriage. Also.. the Abigail Williams and Liberty German case has been solved.
Technically, it's not solved. Just because someone has been arrested doesn't mean it's been solved. He is still innocent until proven guilty. I sure hope he is guilty though, I hope this case is this close to being solved.
How are you going to talk about the Powell case and not mention his father's perversions, the case worker's call, or the explosion in particular? I know it's a quick run down of events, but crucial evidence (that could of taken 4 seconds to explain) was left out of this. I saw a Facebook group about railroad bridges. I wonder if that killer was a railroad bridge enthusiast. Now I want to to Scan that group for any look-alikes.
The lady who wrote a letter saying if anything happens to her, it’s her husband; what they heck do they mean the letter should not be used as evidence? It’s kind of the most important evidence especially if other factors lead to this same culprit.
Yeah…if someone’s late spouse died under mysterious circumstances and then their current spouse also died…I feel like it should almost be assumed that that person is the murderer. Having one spouse die under “mysterious circumstances” is sad and a little suspicious but having TWO die…That’s almost like putting a sign on yourself saying “I did it”

I know this is more related to the comment section, but you have got to start cracking down on scam comments not only claiming to be your channel, but claiming to have a prize for people just for posting a comment. I can’t keep reporting them for the life of me! I’ll stay subscribed to you, but does it not greatly anger you that some people have nothing better to do than scam others?
In 2020 a 33 year old woman was k*illed by her husband. She left notes in her car saying that she was scared of him. They had kids together and she was expecting their third. She was once my Spanish teacher back in 2012, so it was shocking and heartbreaking to hear of her passing.
RIP To All The Victims 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Cheryl Jo Bates is believed to have been The Zodiac's first victim. The main suspect for the Zodiac had lived 30 yds away from where she was living, so he was able to case her.
That's debatable.
The detective that Julie Jensen wrote the letter to was my stepdads best friend- he knew that mark did it.

Thank you SO MUCH for pronouncing the foreign names appropriately and for using the correct terminology for blood SPATTER. So very many people say *SPLATTER* and it drives me crazy, lol.
OMG you missed Mark Winger, it has to be one the most cruel, sick and twisted cases ever.
Anyone else still scared as hell when they hear Robert Stacks voice?
There was a lady named Tierney Ewing, her estranged husband kidnapped and murdered her in 2014; Kevin Ewing was under house arrest and somehow got his ankle bracelet off.
For years, Tierney's family tried to get her away from Kevin; they were junior high and senior high school sweethearts. After they were found dead in a town near the Ohio/PA border (he shot her then shot himself), it was revealed that she'd told family and friends over the years that if anything happened to her, it was because of her husband.
There was a massive man hunt for the couple. The justice system majorly failed Tierney and her kids, and she paid with her life.
i like the more chilled tone of voice here
Alexis Somers used to be my Dr. She is phenomenal she adopted her younger siblings after her dad went to prison.
The Powell's used to live near me as well. My heart goes out to Susan and her boys.
Also, didn’t you see that a suspect was arrested for the Delphi murders?
Rebecca+Creepy Watchmojo= W 🏆
People left clues about their murderers? Well, that's good. That is, also, easier for police👮♀ to catch their killers. But, it's horrible how people were murdered! God bless them!🙏
Abigail Williams and Liberty German was just solved and someone has been arrested.
After the update on the picture his brother turn him in.
that doesnt mean that the case has been solved, they need to make a convinction before its considered solved
I don’t find these fascinating I find it heartbreaking 💔
Didn’t they finally crack the Zodiac Killer letters a while back now? If I’m not mistaken.

“Mark wants to kill me.” Dammit! If we could only decipher this message for clues. Put on a pot of coffee, boys. It’s gonna be a long night. 🕵️♀️ 🔍
Most of the Grace Brown story leading to the murder happened in my hometown of Cortland New York. The factory where they worked is still standing but empty.
4:50 how stupid can you be to give someone your ID, murder them, then not take it back ? the guy was literally asking to be caught. no wonder it happened later that day.
Perhaps obvious, but if you feel like you need to tell someone somebody else “if I die, its this person “ get the hell away from the person l.
Right? These ppl baffle me. This is gene pool material.
Ooh the I was hoping that the murder of the Chohan family murders would be on the list but didn't think they would get no 1. I use to live in Southall. The case was a huge deal.
12:10 uhhhhh when did you guys make this video?
IF I KNEW SOMEONE KILLED MY LOVED ONE I WOULD GET JUSTICE FOR MYSELF IF THEY WERE NOT CONVICTED AND IT WOULD BE IN THE WORST WAY GUARANTEED
@@angelinacamacho8575 That is interesting. Difficult to understand
@@carolynlyfordsullivan1377 yeah it's pretty hard to wrap your mind around it. As Dr. Phil once said "the sign of a healthy mind is when you find it impossible to wrap your head around things like murder" (I forget the actual quote but it does go something like that)
All these women murdered by their psycho husbands.... innocent victims losing their lives...so heartbreaking...
Josh Powell murdered his wife, then his kids and kicked himself because he was too much of a coward to handle he had ended his marriage.
Also.. the Abigail Williams and Liberty German case has been solved.
11:04 this is solved thank you 🙏🏾 rest in peace beautiful girls
I know im 7 months late but does anyone know if Charles Gillette (the 4:56 case) was in anyway related to the gillette razors?
3:15 Balldock was also his mothers nickname in High School
I remember the tracy wigginton case from the show deadly women
Me too I’m from Australia and never knew about it
The "down the hill" girls case is already solved though. Apparently it was a man from the vicinities
Technically, it's not solved. Just because someone has been arrested doesn't mean it's been solved. He is still innocent until proven guilty. I sure hope he is guilty though, I hope this case is this close to being solved.
I recall Simon's story. It appeared on AnimeNewsNetwork because he was one of their members.
Never been this early to a watch mojo. WOO
The Delphi murders have been solved thank god!
2Pac left us clues in his music
So I'm guessing the Grace Brown case was the inspiration for A Place in the Sun.
Yes, it was.
Yep!!!
Yes, and the novel american tragedy
How are you going to talk about the Powell case and not mention his father's perversions, the case worker's call, or the explosion in particular? I know it's a quick run down of events, but crucial evidence (that could of taken 4 seconds to explain) was left out of this. I now always look up cases WatchMojo talks about, just to ensure I am getting the correct information.
Hold up.
That woman had two husbands die of an 'accidental discharge' and the police didn't question it?
Jensen was retried in Feb. 2023 without allowing the letter and was convicted again of 1st degree murder.
071 or ILO a Nigerian name meaning light 12:17
The Liberty German & Abigail Williams case has just been solved in 2022
No it hasnt. Theyve only arrested someone. Trail starts in march. Innocent until proven guilty
"mark wants to kill me"
Detectives: What does this clue mean...?
15:36 name of game?
Kendra Hutter was one who left her killer date's name and number with the father of her kids.
I would like to see a WatchMojo video of their opinion on the Top stories/episodes from the series Buried in the Backyard
The murderer of Abigail Williams and Libby German as finally caught. His name is Richard Allen and I heard he’s having a terrible time in prison😊
If you seriously believe that your spouse is planning to kill you, why wouldn't you leave?
It’s not always that easy.
Calling Aaron Hernandez an "NFL Superstar" is generous. Dude was a good TE but he was no superstar.
I could have sworn they arrested someone in the case of the two little girls
How much research do you guys do because a man was arrested in the Delphi case…
Maybe the video was done before he was arrested and they couldn’t edit it
Top 10 marvel characters that deserve a mcu special
I think they've arrested the 'bridge' guy who killed those two girls.
Yup his brother turned him in after they updated the picture
I saw a Facebook group about railroad bridges. I wonder if that killer was a railroad bridge enthusiast. Now I want to to Scan that group for any look-alikes.
The lady who wrote a letter saying if anything happens to her, it’s her husband; what they heck do they mean the letter should not be used as evidence? It’s kind of the most important evidence especially if other factors lead to this same culprit.
the abigail libby case is now solved i believe
Yeah…if someone’s late spouse died under mysterious circumstances and then their current spouse also died…I feel like it should almost be assumed that that person is the murderer. Having one spouse die under “mysterious circumstances” is sad and a little suspicious but having TWO die…That’s almost like putting a sign on yourself saying “I did it”
Part 2 pls
Do more from India and China, so much happens in those countries.
You guys recycled the whole top 10 version of this list. That made it hard to watch like that. Because I’ve seen the top 10 so many times.
❤ FREUD... My plate is full.
STAY POSITIVE AND DON'T PANIC. !!!!
I used to live not to far from Josh and Susan's old house. I recommend anyone interested listen to the Podcast "Cold" about her
I know the stories of Abigail Williams and Liberty German and Matthew Pyke.
Abigial case was solved recently and the have the murder in custody.
Josh is a wicked guy
the trial for the Delphi murders is still ongoing as of June 04th 2024
Simon's story was the first one I thought of.
I thought for sure you'd update the arrest in the Delphi case
Surprised Rey Rivera isn't on here. That's one Unsolved Mystery I hope gets solved soon.
Simon Ng murder happened 2 days before I was born! That's weird
Susan's father is certain that they finally found her remains in a cave, so at least there is that. May Josh rot for what he did
Josh is dead he ain't suffering at all unless you believe in hell which I do
Sadly, the remains were not found to be Susan's.
If anything happens just make sure it's not your dad.....like htf is she gonna be able to do something about it unless she caught him in the act
Such sick people.
*KEEP FORENSIC FILES ALIVE*
Poor grace brown she didn't deserve what happened to her
Woah.
Interesting
Why are we whispering?
