Big Net Found On Volusia Reef

- In the Summer of 2020, a large net was found on a reef near Ponce Inlet. This video documents its size and what it looks like. Hopefully, it will get removed before any marine life gets entangled. Subscribe to the channel and click the notification bell to see future videos of its removal.

Made an attempt to relocate it today but the viz sucked. Only had about 3 ft of viz. I burned a tank looking around but there were a few fishing boats on the reef while I was trying to look so I couldn't cover all the area I needed to. Not sure it would have mattered since I only had 3' of viz. Also did some side-scan mapping of the reef so I'll probably do a video of that if it turns out to look okay.
Is that VC site #14 off Flagler ave??
No this site is just north of the new site #16 I think there is another video that has the GPS coordinates.
@@ScubaViz awesome I think I know exactly where it's at it's about 8:00 or 9 mi kind of straight in front of sunglow Pier I was just fishing there two weeks ago catching big red ones and lane snapper
@@Slobfishn The site near Sunglow Pier is site 15.
@@ChrisDembinsky I really need to buy a better GPS Garmin also maybe a layout of all the different Volusia county artificial reef site
