What I also found interesting was the reason for the police interaction with the last individual was because he was standing too close to the road... While the knife suspect had an entire interview conducted, in the road. There is definitely something wrong here.
💯!! And the cop knew that he wpuld be dealing with someone with mental health issues. There was no weapon in sight, and he wasn't assaulting anybody. But he was the one thrown to the ground??

That second story, the guy, lies as easily as he breathes.
A trait of a Dangerous low life
As do the police.
Stop Letting Criminals Out Of Prison!!
That's a scroll of criminal charges 😮
I get the Sheriff being upset, but he should behave in a calm and rational manner. He should be removed from his position.
RIP to the folks in the pickup truck.
0:37 you're not Grady Judd... you're not that guy... 😂😂
Might not be Grady Judd, but Florida has a lot of no-no sense Sheriffs. I live in Brevard and the cops here, and all over FL are allowed to do their job
I can't believe any of this happened in a sane, law abiding state like Florida.
Really out of character.
😏... well that's debatable
@@Catharine662💯👍
HAHAHAHAHA
Are you high?
At least no one stepped on used needles or practicing Marxists 🤭
I didn’t know ANYBODY still used that old school printer paper.
They don't. It was taped together for dramatic effect.
not taking responsibility for your mistakes means that you’re going to keep making them over and over again.
The woman, AND the sheriffs dept.
Of course, it played a factor in it. If the vehicle was off or locked, she wouldn’t have been able to steal it. Totally irresponsible of him to say that.
Why do we keep letting these repeat offenders out?!? Those poor people in the truck.
So why was this person out and not in prison?
Lesson learned officer. Glad this never happened to me. But I always hooked my keys to my duty belt. :) The more you know.
When was this, the 80s? They have equipment to charge and no time to waste on response time.
Noone think, that anywho steal a policecar !! But today are all thing possible!! No Respekt, no education , no responce, but all have didnt anything
wroooooooooong!
Don't law enforcement always tell people to lock your vehicle to prevent theft and burglary of property?
Rules for thee, not for meeee.
😊😊😊
No one imaging, anywho steal a policecar !!😅
Barney Fife leaving the keys to the jail cell on the wall next to the cell. "You're not supposed to touch these! Smart aleck."
And they tell people not to drive distracted. But cops regularly drive with their right hand on their computer keyboard, their left hand holding their cell phone, while looking at various other devices and steering with their knees. Do as I say, not as I do.
I am still baffled why LE doesn’t have engine locks on their vehicles. Our department had them installed clear back in the 90’s. To this date, none of our department vehicles have been stolen, every other agency we dealt with have all had vehicles stolen.
How does an engine lock work?
@@sydneyreynolds6967
By locking the engine lol
Something has to be done about our crooked judiciary.
When responding to a car thief call, don't leave the keys in your running car. Hello ?
“The fact the car was open and running doesn’t play a factor in anything!” says the Sheriff about a case involving a woman getting into an open and running car and driving off. Ok.
Why is the sheriff so defensive about the policy of turning off the police cars while talking to a suspect? The officer knew she was trying to take someone else’s car before he even arrived on the scene and definitely should have been more careful
Criminal history proves failiure of the judicial system.Yall need a new judge
He's full of it. We are always warned "NEVER LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN YOUR CAR! NEVER LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN YOUR CAR!" over and over. What does he do?
Who has that sort of paper anymore?
Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. Ask for Dwight.
If a judge shows leniency, and the convict causes (by crime) injury or death to another during the time the judge SHOULD have sentenced them for, the judge should be de-benched.
0:32 Did that guy really need the dramatic amount of paper that he printed out for her criminal history? It was like a scene out of a cartoon or something.
Did she have to commit enough crimes to require that much paper? Can't make this up
@@jake51515lol really? Because im pretty sure he did make it up 😂
He's trying to avoid a lawsuit imo. 😅
@scarface2910 except it's all publicly available 😉
@@Catharine662 yeah i just looked, didnt see much though 🧐
Cop leaves car running with open windows: Surprise Pikachu.
She has a criminal record a mile long…why is she in public carjacking people and not locked up? Whatever judge allowed this piece of garbage back on the street should be charged for gross negligence causing death of those two people in the truck.
That she had such a lengthy record is testament to the failure of our justice system. She should have been in prison.
The Sheriff pretending that the deputy is not at fault is ridiculous. Getting mad at the media for pointing out the obvious flaws in the deputy’s approach. There was no need to keep the vehicle running when stopping someone on foot.
Exactly. Claiming that the fact the car was running is not a factor is just ridiculous. Shows that he is not really accountable. His bad acting can't overcome that.
The fact that 2 other people died because of her is outrageous!!!
Why wasn't she in prison?
Thankfully that list of criminal records won’t get anymore longer now that she’s six feet under.
Where I live, if you leave you keys in your car and someone steals it you are responsible for what happens. Are police held to a different standard?
It's just common sense! Anytime I forgot to lock something and was a victim of a thief I blame myself.
Yes…they have a job to do and you have no clue how to do it.
How does someone with a criminal history like that be allowed to see the light of day?
This is why we don’t leave our keys in our squad.
Pretty hilarious watching ole sheriff “True Grit” get all butthurt when asked about the policy.
0:34 gives a whole new meaning to the term wrap sheet
Great System. For someone with a criminal history like that to be allowed to walk freely.
Dont you DARE ask law enforcement to take an ounce of responsibility for a stolen patrol car!
I'm curious 🧐, the guy who was knifing and slashing civilians wasn't slammed to the ground and tased, why was the individual with "mental health issues" receive that treatment? Is it normal procedure to handle non violent offenses with extreme prejudice and violent offenses with a calm a demeanor? What I also found interesting was the reason for the police interaction with the last individual was because he was standing too close to the road... While the knife suspect had an entire interview conducted, in the road. There is definitely something wrong here.
💯!! And the cop knew that he wpuld be dealing with someone with mental health issues. There was no weapon in sight, and he wasn't assaulting anybody. But he was the one thrown to the ground??
why wasn't she in jail
Was that rap sheet printed on an ancient printer with the perforated sheets
I'm pretty sure that sheriff shady Grady could have over dramatized that arrest record more 😅
Grady would have had a giant poster of her dead face
Sympathy for the Devil much?
He sure did over dramatize that wannabe a cowboy hat 😂
Meanwhile, I was very curious when the sheriff held up her rap sheet. I was surprised to see they even still made the old dot matrix printer paper (the long connected sheets), but what he held up, looks like regular 8.5x11 sheets of paper, taped together. So, I'm fairly certain some assistant at the sheriffs office probably spent hours before the press conference taping pages together for dramatic effect 🤣🤣🤣.
Shady Budd deserves a lifetime Oscar for all his performances. These Florida sheriffs are better than Marlon Brando in the Godfather.
All those charges and only two convictions
I'm tired of the media and government blurring out what really happens during events like this! It isn't about getting a kick from seeing bad things happen, people need to see the truth about real life in order to make better decisions!
And she’s still walking the streets? That’s on you the law 🤨
First of all he leaves his vehicle running door open, with a shotgun inside probably a AK in the back , so why did the cop not SECURE HIS VEHICLE ?
They have leave running policy “
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw ok funny how they charged those parents in mich for their kid having access to a weapon , gotta keep it out of a kids reach. So an open door on a running truck full of weapons ?
@@chrisminshall938 , I think if you’re going hold parents accountable we can’t pick and choose . That case was unprecedented but the loss outweighs everything. What about 1000s of other victims how come they don’t get similar justice , we charge them as adults but we blame the parents for bad parenting, we don’t put them in prison . Maybe we will moving forward. Cops leave car running for the equipment needing the alternator to power thier computers , I think he had doors locked too but left window open , stuff happens a person wants to cause destruction they’re going find a way , cars are far more dangerous than anything , imagine how many parents keys have been taken and ended bad .
A lot of officers use bolt action rifles, but I guess AK sounds scarier, or it's the only gun people have ever heard of, maybe? The police keep the vehicle running to charge their equipment and to be ready to give chase. Why did the criminal jump through an open window and steal the car? It's no one's fault but the person who stole the vehicle. They made the choice to break the law and put countless lives at risk. Unfortunately, two innocent lives were lost. Thankfully, they will never be able to break the law again, as a habitual repeat offender who clearly had no regard for the safety of others. If you get mugged on the bad side of town, is it your fault for being there, or is it the criminal's fault for breaking the law? You can't really claim that by virtue of "being there" it was an incitement for the person to commit the crime. That takes away personal responsibility, which is where this whole mess of people with rap sheets as long as hers, but with no prison time, comes from.
@@jenx5870 cause thats the important part right, not his malpractice or negligence, but hey its america where the most violent humans on earth live
That lengthy criminal history is INSANE.
Zac has a cool job. taping papers together lol
Let me get this straight…. A cop responds to a call about some criminal trying to steal someone’s car keys and the deputy leaves his keys in his car? Wow. Just, wow
leaving the window down is like dangling fruit in front of a starving person.
Officers- never lose sight of your partner and always protect your vehicle!
I feel awful for the people who died and were injured. This deputy is not at fault
