What a wonderful devout and holy mass led by a true shepherd Bishop Marcus Stock. This man is so humble kind and true. Just what the Catholic church needs in the darkness of this world and all its problems. Wonderful leadership too from the cathedral choir. Strong, purposeful singing full of conviction. Excellent tuning throughout!! Thank you
not a religious person myself but on the eve of yet another war in continental Europe I have been watching this absolutely magnificient service from Leeds, UK, this evening hoping for the best but expecting the worst. THX
Although not a religious person if I was to have to choose one it would be to be a Catholic - The service, music, singing, the pomp that your service delivers in a Catholic Church is one of the best religions that I have known. The priest’s gowns, the objects used in the service all add to the great Catholicism religion. Thanks, I have enjoyed every minute watching.
Ronny334-- stop by most any Sunday (covid restrictions notwithstanding). It might not be as polished as Midnight Mass on Christmas, but it is the same faith and hope.
0:15 all these start with the vicar talking to the camera and having the word ‘welcome’ somewhere in the speech. Also it’s only a wide shot just so they can move closer because the bbc is obsessed with moving cameras while someone is talking
From what I noticed, they didn't use the 2012 ICEL translation of the Creed; instead, using the 1970 adaptation almost close to the one found in the Anglican BCP translation. Lots of obvious differences spotted there.

This is the most beautiful Homily I have ever heard,,I am in that darkness
This has given me hope to come into the light,,
The Gloria is wonderful. Peace be with you, British Catholics, Merry Christmas.
I am in USA. I have saved this video and watch it often. One of the best Christmas homilies I have ever heard. God bless this priest and parish.

Jesus bless the world, greetings from Indonesian Christian🙏
It’s nice to see a congregation actively singing as here. Good job.
The service, songs and sermon were very moving for me. The message offered me some comfort. Merry Christmas to all of us.
Happy Christmas. Thank you, fierygolliliom10223.

That being said, a truly outstanding service.
Marvelous celebration!
Beautiful 💓💓💓
I wasn’t expecting to see Paul O’Grady as a priest at the beginning! He kept that quiet....

Who is that soloist in the choir she's got an amazing voice
At 1:25:35 the guy in the grey jumper looks like NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin.
And the other guy in the shot on the far right reminds me of Rugrat out of Wolf of Wall Street.
Whats the piece on the organ played at 1:12:47?
Just improvisation I think.
fierygollllom10223 whatever it is, it’s very calming.
It coul be be mentioned that this is a Roman Catholic celebration.

@@cianextra2576 Upon searching for the 2018 presentation, seems like the BBC learned that mistake and did what is prescribed in the missal.
igreja você tem 100% honestamente de coração para me sustentar mil dólares por semana por toda a vida? Você realmente se importou com o meu pedido?
With the shortage of catholic priests nowadays nice to hear the Latin spoken
Why does the camera move during prayers of the faithful ?
