Absolutely, not! FSD 12.5 is still far from being able to be released as fully Autonomous. It’s going to take a handful of full integrations before that happens and at the current rate of full integration thats about 2 or 3 years. Projecting 2025 as release for autonomous FSD is insane! There a little evidence that that could happen the new Austin data center won’t even be operational until then. The March of nines isn’t easy and will drag things out. People in cities will accept it readily but others will not. RoboTaxi will not be accepted as readily in the beginning as Randy predicts

Yes, cutting out the driver will cut the cost below where Uber can compete. Which is why Uber is partnering with with byd to develop driverless tech.
