Peppsi 1.5m maiden Stetten slope Apr24

Peppsi 1.5m plank using PW51 airfoil, made from EPP parts cut by Fabian Kopp Oct 2011, it originated in an RC Network thread about a fast EPP plank. He later developed the Peppsi project into his 1.5m (60") Scandera EPP plank. for sale via EPP.-shape (company no longer active).
My Peppsi is glassed using 50g/sqm cloth, and rather heavy (AUW 1250g, a bit more than was projected for the fully ballasted non-glassed version (900g, plus 300g optional ballast)
The RX and 4 x AAA NiMh are all contained in the (inner areas) of the 2-piece wing, so there is only lead in the fuselage (underside strenghtened with Kevlar).
The wind was very strong, it was the maiden, I was sh*t-scared, but all went well including the landing. Video with the older Mobius cam
