You guys should do a remaster/fix up of scenes in “Who Killed Captain Alex?”. It be cool to see how you guys could spruce it up!
The funniest part is they couldn't even ask the original dudes for the raw footage, the director works on one home computer and only has the space for one movie so deletes everything when he starts a new one!
They should also compare both of the Charlie and the chocolate factory movies in terms of vfx
@@AbsoluteTravisT Someone should send them a 2TB harddrive lmao.
Dude, I fucking love that movie.
Or The Return of Uncle Benon
I've actually experienced this motion detecting led screen tech, CAVE2 at Monash University in Melbourne. It's basically a supercomputer hooked to a 360° 3d display that tracks the 3d glasses you're wearing so that the rendered volume on the screen move with you perspective. They use this technology for 3d visualisation and volume rendering.
The director of Captain Alex mentioned that when he was younger he saw a type of helicopter shoot backwards, so that’s what that shot is supposed to be conveying.
Exactly.
I believe it dropped bombs from the back not shot backwards.
"Neo getting punched in slow motion"
*shows Neo punching in slow motion
you are right bro
😂😂😂
In LOTR when frodo puts on the ring this weird feathering effect surrounds him and id like to see what you guys think of that.
You guys doing these vids is incredible. I grew up watching BFX (Backyard FX) on Indy Mogul, and this feels very much like a step up. You have NO idea how incredibly inspirational and educational (maybe you do) this journey has been for your viewers. Thank you guys for being who you are. Sincerely, all of us scrubs who sub.
Wren: “It’s going to be the best sausage party ever”
UA-cam: demonetized😂
calling it now, theyre gonna get seth rogen on to react to the whole of sausage party. lol
The Drunk Turtle that would be really funny
I mean with the whole COPPA thing going on, it probably saved their monetisation!
Clint: Gets mad when Wren hasn't seen a movie
Also Clint: Hasn't seen any movies.
Annihilation specifically the crocodile, bear and lighthouse scene.
Oh, right. Yes, please
You should do the quicksilver scene from Apocalypse with "Sweet Dreams."
YES THAT SCENE IS SON GOOD
Clint - 'I haven't seen this' - not only looks like, but I truly believe has been in a coma
yeah. i notice it too.
Shh... they started cloning Clint the way the used to clone Peter. They haven't quite nailed down the formula for cloning a different person, so the clones are coming out a little janky right now. Oh, and they're forgetting iconic movies the original Clint has seen.
The background LED technology is being used for The Mandalorian.
The De-rez shot of the guy collapsing in the Disc Wars of TRON: Legacy!
DO ONE WITH CAPTAIN DISILLUSION
I loved edge of tomorrow. Be awesome to see a prequel maybe.
Like instead of the guy, we actually follow along the girl with her predicament of the time loop thing? That be cool to see actaully
guys go for pirates of the carribean franchise.
If that's the case why not analyse Beckett's last scene from 'At World's End'. I'm actually really curious of what they'll think
They actually did have Davy Jones in one of their reacts.
Curse of the black Pearl would be the best movie to react to, especially with the underwater scene.
@@justinalicea1590 That's why I requested for the franchise.
Salazar had great floaty hair and crusty skin effects, even if the fifth movie was beyond forgettable.
LOTR: fellowship of the ring the cave troll scene in the mines of moria.
I almost expected Clint to say that he'd seen the Ugandan film
@@ChineduOpara That would be the joke. Never seen any major movie but for some reason he goes "oh yeah the ugandan movie I love it!"
It's called subvert the expectations in comedy
8:30 i love the genuine constructive criticism and support given.
Seriously Clint go watch a movie, any movie just watch one already.
😂😂😂ikr
It's actually kind of dumb how a vfx artist hasn't bothered watching some of the highest budget vfx heavy movies in existence. Like, it's worth a look mate, even if it's not your thing.
Yet he wants us to see his shitty cg videos cg videos
@@IHaveInvalidName Its completely understandable. But there is VFX in so many things. Video games is another prime example. That could be his thing, and why he got into it.
10:05 A movie Clint has actually seen for once, lol.
When that Quicksilver scene was shown in the theater, people actually gasped and and at the end of it, we all clapped, amazing scene to see on the big screen.
it's genuinely my favourite visual effect ever. it's so well done, it's super believable, and it really grabs you
Who claps in a cinema??
Millie007 and friends, of course! Them, and all individuals who feel passionate about seeing a good scene done well.
Lets face it: Some scenes have great aspirations but do not deliver in regards to CGI, and some are just a trashheap of CGI thrown into a movie in order to make it look "better," despite a lack of proper storytelling, theme, or purpose for the CGI. I think we have all seen at least one scene in a movie or television show which this has been the case.
Seeing a good movie/scene executed correctly should be praised, regardless of where you are.
@@gregallan4291 a bunch of us clapped in the Cinema while watching Joker. Sometimes an actors story telling performance can engage the crowd to participate when it has an amazing delivery. There's many reasons why a crowd could clap or cheer during a movie 😂🤦🏼♂️, smh.
Films: exist!
Clint: i don't watch them.
I honestly love how you guys put effort into your sponsor and merch cuts, instead off just reading off a script
I want you guys to react to Blade Runner 2049, OBVIOUSLY
The whole movie has amazing VFX but if I had to choose, than the rain scene
I am almost sure they had the movie in this series already.
@@mbnhiphopmusik6429 there was the de-aging scene i think
Mad respect for the effects team of Edge of Tomorrow. It's a gift that just keeps on giving
I wanna see them talk about Ghost Rider in Agents of Sheild, cause ngl the first time the transformation was shown I was blown away.
Yah his transformation scene during his fight with Daisy was awesome
Angel Angle (Not trying to self promote) but I built this really cool electric taser nerf gun and I would love it if you could see the video!! I spent a lot of time making it, but since I’m a smaller channel, no one ever sees it🙏🙏
Also, the shifting perspective screen reminds me a lot of the scene in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, when they break into the kremlin. Would be interesting to see a video where you guys compare the tech in that movie to what’s actually being developed.
Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
I’m pretty sure Swordfish was marketed off of people seeing Halle Berry topless in it lol
Also yes.
Yeah I was gonna say they wanted to make up for the kinda crappy bomb explosion by having Halle Berry take her top off in the movie lol
Well now I'm interested
Then she got extra naked in Monster Ball.
I remember 3 distinct things from the trailers for Swordfish. Halle Berry getting topless, under-table blowjob while hacking, and the explosion shown in this episode. That movie was kind of insane. hehe
I only remember Swordfish being marketed on seeing Halle Berry topless.
Richard Baldwin I remember that too, and they paid her $500,000 dlls extra for it.
Yep
250K a boob. Not too shabby.
To be fair, many moves are "marketed" as "see this actress' boobs these days.
Yep
Being online way too long, no matter how boring it gets but I never see any reaction videos except you guys. Keep making such good stuff guys✌️✌️
The car and shooting scenes from the movie “wanted” and sword fight scenes from “arthur the legend of the sword”. And deadpool fight scene on the bridge. Pleaseeee
The movie Sunshine. When the camera is macro zoomed on their eyes looking at the sun.
The color grading in Hard Candy
The blaster beam force stop at the beginning of The Force Awakens
There was that scene in The Walking Dead where they CG’d a deer and it looked awful. Would be nice to know how it went wrong.
I always thought Ezekiel's tiger ate up more of the effects budget than projected, for how good she looks. Thus you had the deer and that funky green screen shot of Rick on top of the garbage pile.
I love these videos so much!!! It kinda hit me today, about how much editing and effects you guys use JUST TO MAKE these videos. Like the way you give different examples, show things through all the different angles, have to credit and find all of these different source materials, etc. I'm a huge fan, and I hope you know that your time and effort is truly appreciated more than you know!!!
That LED screen technology is making my brain melt
The shot on x man when quicksilver saves everyone on the exlotion house
i think they already watched that one in a video, idk i might be wrong.
They definately did that one already
Sstargamer They haven’t done it yet.
Ex-lotion I need it
That Unreal Engine LED studio is actually the coolest thing I've seen in a long time
ikr? When they showed the in-camera shots I was like "...there's no WAY it actually looks that good..." It's pretty incredible
they're also using that tech on The Mandalorian
Clint seriously doesn’t watch anything everyone else watches.
He has weird taste for movies
