If you think of Fayard and Harold Nicholas as natural talents who practised their craft constantly in order to hone it so finely. My first introduction to them was probably in the 1974 retrospective "That's Entertainment', a popular series of movies . My father grew to adulthood as music was becoming very popular. He was a Canadian veteran of WWII. My earliest memories include Dad singing Louis Jordan's "Is you is or is you ain't my baby" 20 years after the song was initially was released. He would call eveyone in to watch anytime 'Minnie the Moocher" was on tv. He loved the Hi-de-ho chorus, and that is probably where later entertainers picked up the call and response technique. Keep checking out past entertainers, it's amazing how much influence they have today.

I personally believe it is a beautiful thing to have two young men speak so openly with transparency regarding the struggles of life, and how to overcome. I have often said that men do not have a platform to speak on their internal difficulties and how to cope. Most just hold it in because there is this erroneous ideology that men have to be of steal; and yes they need to learn and know how to be good leaders, yet they also need to release and vent in a safe place. 😊 I believe you two help more people of all ages and stages including men that are grateful for your platform but still won't admit to hearing and accepting your speech, but silently are in agreement with you. So good to see Fred back! One good tip I found helpful years ago was to have a separate savings account. I call mine “House Fund” and it helped me save for my house. Now 20+years later, I keep adding to it because it’s inevitable that something in your house will break and it’s never a cheap fix. Keep growing! You two are an inspiration for so many. This internet auntie is proud of you.
Good to see you both, I had a very hard childhood, in & out of foster care, many issues. It is okay to take care of mental health. The Lord gave us Doctor's for both are physical & mental health. There's lots of bumps in the road, it's not a smooth ride. You will change from here to 35 as well, but it does get easier. Wishing you both the best. Remember the line in the song Ironic, "it's the good advice, that you just didn't take," we are all guilty of that one.

Life is hard but you’re right, life happens and we learn. I was in my 20s not knowing what my purpose was until I became a social Worker. Luckily, after 27 years, that’s still my purpose. I wish so much that my daughter had matured and grown like you. She’s 40 now. She has pushed quite a few good people out of her life and she is shortchanging her daughter from all of the love of people who were pushed away. I pray every day that she gets her mind right.
