@@mastergalaxar9302 that's impressive. Did you lvl 1 it then go 24 lvls to beat terranort or did you just say fuck all the enemies until you got there? And if I remember correctly, the realm of darkness is a final mix exclusive.
I must have been very underleveled (level 28 on proud difficulty). His combo attacks were guaranteed one-shot kills and I could not use a single one of my techniques besides mine square/curaga without instant death. I could only damage him by reflecting his projectiles and reprisals on blocking his combos. After over an hour of attempts, I reached his final form where all I could do was shotlock my way to victory (using blizzaga as the fatal blow).
Been years since I fought this guy, but I remember Bio Barrage was my freakin' hero here. Went in like Lv. 40, terrible moves, just spammed like Fire Dash and like prayed with counterattacks. I can't remember what else I used, but this fight was intense. And this music? Top tier. No contest.
When this came out on Steam I had only played 1 and GBA Com (100% run) years ago. Went back for 100% including achievements for 1, ReCom, 2, and even emulated 358 and 100% that too. When I got to this game I played it so I would 100% each character as much as I could before moving onto the next including level 99 grinding. So when I got to the final story and started this fight hearing Destati where my journey began, I felt so euphoric even though it's a prequel battle and I was clearly overleveled.
I rewatched it a few times. If you look at it again, Aqua actually air dashes forward (same visual effects and her legs match the animation) so she faces towards Terranort but with some distance between them.
I ended leveling All of the three characters by using the Mega Flare method in Radiant Garden (mostly to unlock the secret episode), so the final boss battles (including this final terranort battle) ended being a walk in the park especially with 3 cura or curagas and Leaf Bracer. (Played in Standard Mode however)

I Never realize it's actually just Little Thing about Anakin vs Obi-Wan Kenobi but it's using Keyblade

I lost to xehanort like countless of times but I eventually beat him. Maybe we can use the Dimensional link.
I won on my first go. Had to use a lot of healing and I abused invincibility frames to do it but I barely managed.
