If you start at the top of the driveway, the loose dirt builds up below you, making it more time consuming to have to stop and keep rinsing the dirt farther down the driveway, or having to plow the surface cleaner through built up piles of sand and dirt. 99% of the time, I always run from bottom to top (or from low spot up to high) unless the driveway is relatively flat, or so large that it wouldn't really matter.

Congratulations on starting your own business. If I could start over, I would definitely get a hot water machine atleast a 5.5 gpm and 3200 psi. I have a cold water machine right now, but would love to get a hot water in the future. I would also do as much advertising as possible on Facebook (just on local groups) and flyers. We have not had much luck with Facebook ads, but maybe you will. So far as charging, every market is different, but I would definitely think about what your chemical cost is and your time spent and think about what you want to make. Maybe join some pressure washing pages as well on Facebook, those have been very helpful for me. Good luck and hope your very successful!
