Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us beginners. I've been looking for the embroidery scissor kit you showed on Jan 1st from Two Chicks Quilting but they don't show them at all. I was hoping to see an out of stock or similar notice but nothing. I checked out the OESD kit but it is very different. Those fine tipped scissors are not included in the OESD kit nor is the duckbill ones. The closest kit I found was the Kimberbell kit, It is only a 4 pc but both those scissors are included. Just an FYI. Thanks again for the wonderful LIVES!

It's a pretend kitchen just like at a real quilt retreat. Everyone has so much fun with it. :)
I've been using my SnC all week. I'm working on the Chillin With My Snowmies Quilt (The Quilt Factory). I've scanned all the images and made cut files and have been cutting the pieces and getting them cut. It's all Moda flannel and have found the Rotary Blade very helpful - makes nice smooth cuts. I tried the auto blade (a new one) and the cuts just weren't as nice. There are 16 different fabrics used so it's gonna be awhile - my project for the year. After all the cutting I'll be on to Stitch Artist to make the stitch files. YIKES!
