After that he is trying to reach for help as you said, and the last, his moves are stuck, like a puppet, when he realizes he's been a tool for Shido all along, moving as he has strings attached to him. That's beautiful

And I think I'm gonna learn the Persona dances now. Right after my race this weekend but then I'll continue dance practice. Thanks for bringing my motivation back! 😄
1:07 I just realized how great this move is. This is the pose Akechi makes when summoning Robin Hood. In this dance he switches faces from his "Detective Prince" persona to his "Black Mask" persona. So that pose, in battle, was him essentially "putting on the mask" rather than everyone else ripping it off. In this dance, however, it can be seen as him "taking off the mask", as the "Black Mask" persona is closer to his true feelings.
