Konami Road Fighters 3D Arcade Machine
Road Fighters is a 3D racing game from Konami. The game is a sequel to Konami's first driving game, Road Fighter which was released in 1984. The cabinet has a set of 3D glasses mounted to the machine and two 'peep-holes' built into the seat to allow spectators to view the action in 3D also. Players can also play the game in 2D and can switch between 2D and 3D modes with the press of a button.
Player's can choose between a diverse line-up of licensed cars, including the Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro, BMW M3 Sedan, Ford MUSTANG GT, MAZDA ROADSTER RS, Mercedes-Benz S600, MINI Cooper S, IMPREZA WRX STI and many others. Players also have eleven different courses with varying difficulties to select from.
Road Fighters features five different game modes, including: the Road Fighter Challenge (a mission mode where to pick a character and race against bosses to win medals and dress up parts for your car), Online Multiplayer, Battle Mode (where players can race against their friends), Time Attack and Event (online tournaments are periodically held).
Road Fighters has support for Konami's e-Amusement service for keeping track of player data. The background music has been taken from Konami's library of Bemani music.
Up to four single cabinets can be linked together.

The game remains playable via spicetools which allows you to launch the game and configure the various settings, in particular the keys of a pad or a steering wheel. Personally, I haven't yet succeeded in configuring my steering wheel, but I continue to try to do so. The save card does not yet work which means that each time you restart the game you have to start all over again. However in the current state we can enjoy the game and make great races as you can see in my videos

I'm slowly getting all the driving games working at 1080p+, this game took me a while to get the right files. I feel like the rendering resolution is lower than the actual display resolution. Similar to what happens in Grid, there's no way these games are running at 1080p and 1440p from a rendering perspective. Thanks for the video, it's a nice perspective on a game I can see myself playing a lot of! I doubt anyone is trying to tackle the card reading for "just another racing" game though. Sadly.

I found a way to use a fake KONAMI server which allows access to all the menus but the save of the card does not work so there is not much point in using it

Hi and thank you, the game was released in Japan in 2010 and the terminal included glasses allowing you to play in 3D at the touch of a button and vice versa by pressing the button again to play in 2D as in my video.
