Absolutely love the level of detail in these videos, the whiteboarding the angle of the bench and how it changes the movement pattern is content I don’t see elsewhere
Same! Love this video format
Shared this with my mom.
😂 perfect. She’s gonna be JACKED
I’m all for this new board content - I’m showing up 10 minutes early and sitting front row for this class 🤓
But seriously..look at that leg 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for the info boss
I really like the format of presentation with the screen. Feels like I am in uni
Always ready for ur class coach 👍💪💪 Joe
Great info
Again wonderful educational stuff thank you joe
glad to see you posting more here again! I learned so so so much from some of your older videos
Thank you for this! Definitely going to start doing this!
Loved it 💪
I love this style of content, better than my classes for exercise science 😅
Squat press >> linear leg press >>>>>>> vertical leg press.
Horizontal presses are rare as hell (and I’m not referring to hip presses) but I’d probably have them = linear given that they do more mid position loading (good for quads) but close the hips off more (not good for quads)-just depends on your mobility. They’re better imo if you can get full depth without the ass coming off the pad.
Just discovered this channel, iv always felt like a nerd for enjoying in depth breakdowns and learning 😂
New viewer. Great format, entertaining too. Thanks
🙏
Love ya papa joe
Top class content
I should send you a dollar every time I lol during one of your videos!
😂🙏
The Tyler part was so hilarious 😂
for the ab movement I love to do them on a glute ham raise
I feel my abs a whole lot the next day after going up and down a 3 step ladder for 9 hours.
Bro, those drawings are outrageous.
You’re welcome!
Great video Joe!
I had a question, would it be better for someone lifting just over a year to start a lean bulk considering they’re close to 14-15% bf? Or would it be better to get more lean first in order to bulk longer? Ik it’s dumb to ask what’s better this or that, but I am very confused as everyone says you grow the most in your initial years of lifting. Would love to hear your opinion on this!
For the Ryan Reynolds beard pic look him up in Blade Trinity 🤯
Wait a sec, you want to tell me you are not our lead singer? 🤣🤣
I prefer a BOSU ball for training abs. It provides a great stretch
Going to try ab pad thank you 🙏🏻
What’s the longest prep you’d recommend? Longest I’ve done is 26 weeks but is there a point where you can be in it just too damn long?
Btw ‘smaller and fatter at the same time’ 😭🤣 results in a trip to 5 Guys (This had me roaring 😂)
What about mini cuts? 500-800 calorie deficits for short periods of time (no more than four weeks) to extend bulking periods.
Mini cuts are useful since they're so short, just make way for more bulking AND can increase insulin sensitivity which helps during the bulk.
Is it mad that I recognise those are Ryan Terry’s abs in the thumbnail? I’ve spent too long looking at topless men 😂
Are they? my video go did that 😂
Ryan Terry has very recognisable abs, incredibly aesthetic haha
What machines would you prioritize when filling up a 24’x24’ garage gym?
Probably some kind of leg press or squat based machine, some kind of multi-attachment cable machine, chest press machine, chest supported row, seated hamstring curl... covers most bases I think 😅
@@RDS_ArmwrestlingIf I had a small home gym smith machine would be the first piece to buy. After that a multi attachment cable machine. You can do almost everything with just those two machines. And of course before all that, some free weights and adjustable bench.
1:50 I really thought that was going somewhere else..

Edging or mewing?
7:27 the absent look after the soul has left from a workout lol
👍👍👍
Does that ab exercise work the lower abs as well? I have been told that you need one leg raise for lower abs and one crunch for upper abs. I don't know if that's just gym bro conventional wisdom.
The muscle contracts no matter what, and will stretch when you bend backwards over the pad, so the lower abs will be working. Probably best to include a leg raising type move anyway for variation as well
Please make a video for cutting/fatloss/getting shredded ❤
Should beginners wear straps?
No, but over time the muscles of the back and legs will become stronger than the grip, and straps will be needed. I feel like after a year or even 2 years, then straps are worth it. True beginners, no.
Rate vacuums for ab work?
There's no resistance other than how hard you can flex your muscle. However, they are effective for being able to do a better vacuum pose, if you train it enough. Larry Wheels said he unlocked his vacuum by doing it as much as he could manage for over over 2 hours straight lol

So hanging leg raises are a waist of time? (Based on the first question)
Great pun 😂😂😂😂
@@AbuZak14 😊😊😉
No. Not if don't properly.
@@HypertrophyCoach knees towards your chest, isn’t it?
@@joel.020 as long as your spine is rounding ur good I think
Woah Woah Woah... So hanging leg raise DOESN'T train the abs?!
Yes it does IF the hips are brought closer to the sternum.
@@RDS_Armwrestling Thanks for the messages.
Even with what you've said in a mind, a hanging leg raise with minimal hip hinging feels very stimulative to the abs. I can understand that if the ab muscles don't cross the hip joint that it's impossible for them to be doing the movement, but it does seem to go against other evidence. Would there be some other mechanics involved? Maybe the abs stabilise the hips to allow them to move the legs? There must be something else at play surely?
Grab a small child at the gym gets you thrown into a jail! Lol
not if its your child😂
@@HypertrophyCoach haha..good one. Love your content. Please upload more!
Vertical leg presses need to go extinct.
You never made a Full guide for cutting/ fat loss/ to get shredded 😢
